Down by the River Severn on the path that goes round the perimeter of the Racecourse. It had been raining heavily the day before and the river is quite high.

The yellow/orange boat makes it for me!

I do like that yellow boat here Bill, and a fine summery image.

This feels so idyllic to me, Bill...mostly because of the skies. Perfect for Boat Friday. smile
Bill Phillips: It was not as warm as it looks and the river was swollen from a lot of recent rain Ginnie. But the sky is somehow very English!

But now the sun is out and a lovely day has just started (but here it is wintery- cold)- five boats I see - more than enough for one Boat Friday!
Bill Phillips: As you say Philine 5 is plenty .

I sang along with the Major-General grin.....
Great view of that 'wild' river. Lots or rain lately, I assume.
Love the HDR.
Bill Phillips: I love Gilbert and Sullivan grin It had indeed rained a lot and the Severn was high in Worcester. This is by the racecourse Lady P

Six boats all in different poses. You must have a way with them.
Bill Phillips: Six?...oh yes so there are. I don't like even numbers grin
A beautiful shot Bill……..you've got my mind racing with fishy questions grin
Bill Phillips: No good asking me I don't have any fishy answers.....well

Different colour, different direction and out on land = the brave yellow boat.
Bill Phillips: Dare to be different Louis. I imagine you do!
Another fine shot!
Bill Phillips: I am obliged to you Tom
A wonderful light in this beautiful perspective Martin!
Bill Phillips: Thanks richard
Sorry, I meant to say Bill...
Bill Phillips: gringringrin
What a lovely stretch of river, I trust, as it wasn't raining, this wasn't taken on a Friday! I love Pirates, the best of the lot I feel. On Sky Arts they occasionally broadcast an Australian production of it, quite the best I've seen live or otherwise.
Bill Phillips: I think it is my favourite. It has a delightful silliness. Can't remember what day it was but as it was Worcester it could have been a Friday. Mind you there had been a lot of rain!!
A delightful riverside Boat Friday Bill
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much Janet
wow! This is nice for October!
Bill Phillips: It was a very pleasant October on the whole around here
So relaxing. I could use a visit here right about now.
Bill Phillips: Along side the River Severn and behind is the Racecourse
