i am guessing it is an annual ritual? i like the sheen on Rexie.
Bill Phillips: This is Remembrance Sunday Ayush. A short service is held at war memorials all over the country and wreaths of poppies are laid in remembrance of all those who have lost their lives in defence of this country.
It's an honor to be selected...
Bill Phillips: It is one duty as club President I am pleased to perform Larry
...Lest we forget...
Bill Phillips: We must never forget and we still need to learn E
Thanks to you and Rexie Bill... you look proud... good!
Lest we forget....petersmile
Bill Phillips: I am one of the lucky people who has lived for over 60 years without anyone firing a shot at me or having to do that to anyone else. For that I am very grateful

Lest we forget. I know this is an honour. Rexie looks proud too.

Oh, a honourable duty you have been elected to perform - and Rexie was with you -what is about his tongue? A cute dog indeed, he seems to be bigger than you!
Bill Phillips: I think it was a comment on how I looked

Mr President, Rexie's tongue seems to be coming out of his nose. You should have worn the suit Tiff and I gave you.
Bill Phillips: I wish I could still get in it!

Fortunately my tongue is not as long as that of Rexie.
Chickens lay eggs and you lay a wreath. English is difficult.
Bill Phillips: And Afrikaans isn't??
Well done both of you. Looks like Rexie forgot his handkerchief.
Bill Phillips: It was tied round his neck and he didn't dare use it!

Can you touch your nose with the tip of your tongue too?

On a more serious note, I still have a lot of books for you when you are passing our way next.
Bill Phillips: I can't even touch my toes with the tips of my fingers!

Which place do I have to be passing? grin Or is here a pub we could meet at

You look very nice, It is sunny as can be but the street is wet. Who am I to believe?
Bill Phillips: It poured with rain on Saturday but Sunday was clod and sunny. Today is grey and damp! Typical English weather grin
Rexie looks a good natured dog
Bill Phillips: He got a lot of attention and seemed to lap it up.........grin
Good for you Bill, all the best for your year of office
Bill Phillips: Thanks Martin. It is my third time as President and hopefully my last. I'm not fond of being in chargegrin
Lol Bill, nice way to do it !
Bill Phillips: Cheers Zeb! I thought the dog added to the morning
You were looking very smart Bill, and it must be an honour to be able to do this, even though you say you don't enjoy the being in charge bit that much. Rexie is a lovely old dog isn't he.
Bill Phillips: I prefer to be in the background! Rexie was a grand fellow!

Bill Phillips: I did my best Lisl
Your look quite serious Bill! Very nice tribute.
Bill Phillips: I tried to be Richard. If it wasn't for them we wouldn't enjoy the freedom we have now

I'm so tempted to make a joke but it's not fitting to the day. I see it hasn't stopped Ray, though smile I'm pleased it was sunny for those paying their respects.
Bill Phillips: The weather helped to ensure a good turn out
I like the shot of your good self and setting and the pp treatment also.
Bill Phillips: Ange took the pic of me and I did the pp
You look very smart, Bill, but Rexie is gorgeous. Love his poppy on his bandana or is it a bib?
Bill Phillips: It looked like a large bib!
Rexie seems to have his mind on other things, however smile You cut a noble figure, sir.
Bill Phillips: Thank you kindly
