Sausage dogs tethered, so they can't jump ship...
Bill Phillips: Cute aren't they?
It does look like a beautiful day! Pretty as a picture!
Bill Phillips: Better than today which is grey and dull!

A wonderful colourful Autumn day in Droitwich. Love the narrow boats. The dogs indeed fit the boat smile
Bill Phillips: Narrow dogs. Thanks Lady P. Hopefully I will get to show you round

I am sure the sun always shines on Droitwich, Bill
Bill Phillips: True....sometimes it does it through a thick layer of cloud though

Well noted, Bill. You can fool some of the people some of the time! grin BTW, on my citadel walk the other day, I noticed the narrowboat is back in our inside harbor!
Bill Phillips: They look tiny alongside Dutch barges ginnie!

This is obviously a pleasant sunny shot taken in one of those northern towns full of agreeable navigable waterways
Bill Phillips: You are rambling total nonsense. Pull yourself together man

Clever bit of twiddling Bill.

I love these narrowboats I saw in Stratford-upon-Avon, too, and you are righter than right - the more the sun is shining, the more colourful are the colours - and twiddling is not necessary! Droitwich has so many sun hours a year that the Mayor decided to baptise Droitwich to Sunwich!
Bill Phillips: The chap who first started the work to restore the canal Max Sinclair formed the canals trust back in 1973. Now at the age of 82 he is to be made an honorary freeman of the town. I am lucky enough to be going to the ceremony next Monday evening
Well it's not the South of France is it.
Bill Phillips: What part of Vines Park Droitwich didn't you get?

Two dogs are sharing the sunshine at the front of the boat. Love your sunny shot.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Mary. The work done on the canal has transformed this area

I suppose tourism is apparently all that Droiters has got going for it
Bill Phillips: We have commerce and industry as well as tourism. And Droitwich has me!
What a joy it must be to ride up and down the canals in a narrow boat like this, especially when the sun is shining so brightly. You're right about not finding Chris lurking about Droitwich on a beautiful sunny Sunday, Bill, as it seems he only haunts the area on Friday's, when it is certain to be raining.
Bill Phillips: He sneaks up here with his partner in crime when I am away and makes libellous claims. The man is without scruplegrin
Obviously, then, this cannot be Droitwich - you've been displaced in space and time as a result of your twiddling, Bill - hope you make it back smile
Bill Phillips: Straight from the camera this Tom
What a beautiful scene! Your chocolate box treatment, perhaps smile
Bill Phillips: I have decided I like doing chocolate box pictures
Wonderful image Bill. I love these narrow boats!
Bill Phillips: So do I Richard, although I have never been on one
What a lovely image Bill, everything looks altogether very nice, one problem, if Droitwich is like Loughborough this afternoon your words are slightly incorrect, it's *is**ng down here! Still that funny little man isn't around, what a shame he would have got soaked smile
Bill Phillips: Been a bit grey here today and my fingers are crossed that we won't get rain tomorrow as it is our book sale
wouldn't mind a ride, Bill
Bill Phillips: Funnily enough I have never set foot on one!

Good to see the restored waterway being used. I like his aid to help him see towards the pointed end.
Bill Phillips: It has been a delight to see boats back on the canal.
And the sky goes well with the blue boat too... especially for this photo.
Bill Phillips: Thank you kindly
