Exeter 5 of some

Leaping from the simplicity of St Martin's into the cathedral. £4 entry for the over 60s which isn't bad compared with some, and there is a nice big sign outside you you don't get any nasty surprises. The £4 also incudes the permit to take pictures.

There is a nice refectory there and the pea and mint soup of the day made a nice light lunch.Tongue out

The ceilings are wonderful.
Bill Phillips: They are a tribute to the men who built them Jacquelyn

I can agree with all your words (incl. the fine refectory) - wonderful photos of the glorious cathedral, esp. my respect how you captured the long nave with its ceiling!
Bill Phillips: It is a fine building and has a lot of memories for me Philine.

Chris is today in Germany and the United States at the same time - we call this a miracle, maybe influenced by Saint Peter at Exeter? Canonization will be happening if there are two miracles.
Bill Phillips: He could become the Patron saint of Photography
Terrific shots Bill. That middle ceiling is really magnificent
Bill Phillips: It is magnificent isn't it?
Great montage...And I like very much your comment
Bill Phillips: Thanks very much Zeb smile

That's £4 well spent then. It is beautiful and your images do it credit. I like the ceiling very much.
Bill Phillips: Well worth it Alan and thank you
Looks a very fine building Bill, and this makes three church groups here today including Philine's and mine. £4 isn't bad, it's £14 at York including the tower, and no photography is allowed in various parts of the building.
Bill Phillips: It is Brian and I think their charges are very reasonable
Wow, this ceiling is a gem Bill!
Bill Phillips: I agree Richard.
I don't mind paying to take pics - and it looks as though it was worth it!
Bill Phillips: Nor do I Tom. I think the charges at Exeter are very reasonable and upfront
