You should rather follow your big Phillips-brother than this Mick Shaw - but the pier looks elegant! And I like very much the three gull -stooges!
Bill Phillips: Mick is a very talented photographer. He isn't keen on HDR thoughgrin The gulls are a lucky bonus
Good that they built this up on stilts to gain a better view.
Bill Phillips: They were pretty smart these pier designers

One of the best HDRs I have seen in a while. Wonderful effort.

The HDR does not pop right out like it does in some photos.
Bill Phillips: HDR doesn't have to be totally OTT. It is fun doing OTT twiddles but actually evenntually I want to do some that you can't really tell they are HDR
You've a definite knack at getting good results with this HDR lark.
Bill Phillips: I still get the urge to go totally OTT, but when restrained I think you can get some good results.
Is there a particular reason why Mr. Shaw has such an aversion to HDR, Bill?
Bill Phillips: No idea Beverly. Perhaps it is just mine he doesn't like grin

Actually, apart from the sky which is a little OTT, it has come out really well. I'm not a fan of HDR either unless used appropriately; does that make me a proper photographer, I wonder?
Bill Phillips: Only a tad OTT I can do OTTier. and no it doesn't
Yes I rather like this Bill, he sky has come out very well.
Bill Phillips: Thank you kindly Sir Brian
I really like it Bill! Well done.
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much Richard
It's lovely, Bill, especially the sky.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Pauline. It was one of those days that just got better and better. I was beautiful in the afternoon
