They don't like choccie box in Teignmouth.
Bill Phillips: Yes they do. It encourages the holidaymakers
Hummm, that looks like Mick's image!!
Bill Phillips: He was standing next to me grin

Strewth, Michael!

Didn't you have time, today, to apply your "brooding" filter set...this is a bit like it just got out of bed and can't find the make-up box...
Bill Phillips: Devoid of twiddle. Well apart from being 5 bracketed exposures put through Photomatix and Lightroom. So straight from the camera really
Nice seascape Bill... i like the way that the boats roll on their side for a nap at low tide....petersmile
Bill Phillips: I do the same Peter grin

They used to say the camera doesn't lie, so a cloud must have blown over the sun in Michael's picture
Bill Phillips: That was never true Lisl grin

A delightful scene. I will miss this as I wrestle with rattlesnakes and the Navajo Injuns.
Bill Phillips: There is always a downside Alan

This isn't chocolate box material but I will also have to investigate the other version.
Bill Phillips: Whaddya mean? Not Choccie? This is worrying

Crikey, Bill.

All that technical talk just makes me dizzy and envious...you reel off "...5 bracketed exposures..." like a billionaire pulling 100 quid notes off his trouser-cash roll and flinging it to the peasants...

Does a single day-trip to pay homage at the feet of The Maestro [Mick Murphy from Malta] lift one's confidence to a whole new stage?

[I cannot afford a trip to Eurozone, so will have to just pray each night that one day Mick will stopover in Bangkok for a day on one of his World Tours.]
Bill Phillips: Mick doesn't like HDR especially Photomatix. He just likes making everything go a funny colour. If I could afford to come to Bangkok I would be happy just to eat the food and take snaps
It looks lovely Bill, very quaint.
Bill Phillips: I quite like Teignmouth Pauline, I know Mick loves the place

I know which of the two versions I like best Bill
Bill Phillips: So do I Anne gringringrin
Somehow very Devon, must say I prefer Back beach to Black beach.
Bill Phillips: Nice to have variety though John

I come back from France to this ... what a bummer
Bill Phillips: Upset at what you have been missing eh comrade?
We are seeing Teignmouth in a different light Bill. This is delightful
Bill Phillips: All part of the fun Janet
On a serious note it is interesting to see two totally different approaches to an almost identical subject, what puzzles me is that the promenade is uphill in one picture and downhill in the other, was Teignmouth having an earthquake at the time?
Bill Phillips: I didn't bother to straighten mine and if Mick did he might have overdone it
it looks like a most pleasant place Bill!
Bill Phillips: It is Richard. Lots of interesting bits!
Lovely soft treatment, a very peaceful setting.
Bill Phillips: Thank you Will and thanks for the comment.
You are just the naturally sunny optimist, Bill, whereas MS... smile
Bill Phillips: Hahaha I am not noted for my optimism Tom!
I like very much this serie !!!
Bill Phillips: Thanks Zeb!
