Teamwork or.....

...the blind leading the blind? Members of our Lions club erecting the gazebo at the recent Salt Fest in Town.

Note the canal in the background. Later there were boats and this could have been a boat Friday picture

Will be meeting with Mick Shaw today for coffee and cakes in Teignmouth. ....It will be nice to see Jean Wink

You did well to get the job of "documenter" for the exercise, Bill.

Say G'day to Michael for me.
Bill Phillips: I was multitasking at the time
It's a good thing that it wasn't raining Bill... those boxes full of books would be soaked... a fun collagegrin ....petersmile
Bill Phillips: We had a plan....leave books etc in cars if raining. Get them out if not and go and park cars. We were able to do the latter grin

How many men does it take to....! HA! Good one, Bill. I'm sure they all knew exactly what they were doing.

Say HI to Mick and Jean. With Frank gone for awhile, I'm sure they will like your company.
Bill Phillips: No they didn't. But one of them did ....it wasn't me

Your photo remembers me of a similar, but quite more chaotic one taken by Chad - but here sensible men are active and I can imagine the result of their working and I can view a lot of boats!
Bill Phillips: They worked as a team and got the job done. I wouldn't have let Chad near it

I hope you have a good day with master photographer Shaw & spouse. Chad & I will later be in the company of the newly created Dr Newton
Bill Phillips: Dr Dog......has a certain ring to it. It was good meeting up with Mick and Jean.
The gent in the lower row middle shot seems to be saying "Why don't you lose the camera and give us a hand?!" Have a good time Bill
Bill Phillips: I think he thought I knew what I was doing
The man in the top left isn't amused grin Good fun Bill!
Bill Phillips: Funnily enough he is one of the most even tempered and good natured of people you could ever meet
Have a great time with Jean Bill smile
Bill Phillips: She's lovely. Ange really took to her,

And you were assigned the task of official recorder of proceedings? smile
Bill Phillips: I do most of the pictures that appear on our website. And I organised most of this event....well Ange did most of the real work
Looks as if they had quite a struggle, Bill. Nice rear end shot in the upper right picture. Coffee and cakes in Teignmouth sounds great; enjoy your meetup!
Bill Phillips: It wasn't as bad as it looksgrin We had a nice meet up with Mick and Jean
This is quite a serious matter Bill! Fine montage.
Bill Phillips: It was indeed Richard. We made £450 on the day!
That's a very low gazebo - intended for small visiting aliens?
Bill Phillips: It has legs Tom, legs....Academics...Duh!!
Quite a team you have there Bill. Hope you had a good day with Michael and Jean.
Bill Phillips: We did indeed Brian.
They look like a capable bunch Bill. Top left looks like he might be thinking something uncomplimentary about you though
Bill Phillips: They are Janet. Top left is a pussycat!

I don't mind you capturing what I captured a few weeks ago.

Make sure he treats you.
Bill Phillips: I promised to buy the coffee as long as he hadn't started smoking again....he hasn't had a cigarette since April.
Did they make you work, too? smile
Bill Phillips: Oh yes. I was there all day....working!

Good to see that you were lending a hand Bill..." You don't want to do it like that"
Bill Phillips: Versatile, puts up tents and takes the pictures
Thanks for the coffee Bill , good to see you again and Ange.Just got home . wish we could of stayed.
Bill Phillips: It was good seeing you both too. We had a longer than expected journey back as there had been an accident on the M5, we came off at junction 11 and went through Tewkesbury.
