Sorry Bill, mixed up names, just got in from work.

Great photo - B&W is great. I'm glad he wears a helmet when on that thing! I do an exercise call the unicycle... quite different - no equipment required!
Bill Phillips: I have never understood how the penny farthing came to be invented or why anybody bought one.

Great treatment here, I would say this is a Classic choccie box....
Great picture, I will be scared to ride the thing...(and I know how to ride a bike)
Bill Phillips: It is a weird invention. What time do the terrible twosome arrive?}

Hhaha.. need the helmet if falling from that distance! I wonder if they do an off road version of the bike?
Bill Phillips: I'm surprised they ever did an on road version Alan
I'm sure I saw this guy selling one of these on the t.v. last week,on that 'four rooms' series, Bill.
Bill Phillips: I don't know the program but it is quite possible as it looks like a reproduction to me
Now what is that in new money? smile
Bill Phillips: not a lot!
It looks to me as if it has dropped racing handlebars, this could be a prototype for next years Tour of France.
Bill Phillips: They used to race them didn't they? They could achieve speeds in excess of 20mph
Helmet and water bottle - what happened to authenticity? He should have gaiters and a flat cap!
Bill Phillips: Quite right. Health and safety strikes again perhaps?
I still don't know how they get on these things. Did you see it?
Bill Phillips: Sadly no. I assume you need a ladder!
Very nice presentation of this old/new scene Bill!
Bill Phillips: I have a feeling the bike is not old...just the design grin

Bill Phillips: At the time it was about the fastest thing on the road!
Nicely done !
Bill Phillips: Thanks Paul!
I wonder if they were designed in this manner to prevent the long skirts of gentlewomen from dragging on the ground.
