A Walk in the worcestershire Countryside 9

For those who migt be interested another baby picture is on Blackpig (Mr Pig) today

Our route took us past Wolverton Hall, a grade II listed building and probably worth in the region of £2.25 million

Helluva sky, Bill...did you rent that one from ole Tiffo's neighbour?
Bill Phillips: I am building up a stock in my garage next to my book sale books
Are you sure you're not taking lessons at the Croston/Shaw studio of Armageddon Skies?
Bill Phillips: Haha Mr Shaw's would be much more ominous than this Egrin
Have a look at Nik software, 15day trial. The b+w bit is best I have ever used. They have a hDR bit as well.i used the software for most of the wedding pics.
Bill Phillips: I had a version if Nik as a plug in with Corel Paint Shop Pro. It is very good and You are right about the b&w When I transferred Corel to my new laptop it went to pot and wouldn't work and I can't reinstall it as it thinks it is still there.

Tell me how to find Blackpig, Bill - I'd like to see these babies...
Bill Phillips: If you look on all photoblogs page BlackPig shows as MrPig
That's quite a sky... The sheep don't mind though.
Bill Phillips: Nothing much bothers sheep Jacquelyn. Well dogs do and foxes, and mint sauce....

that's some sky!
Bill Phillips: Hello Sarah. Haven't seen you for ages. Are you posting again soon?
Would I be right in thinking these strong skies have been done in Lightroom? BTW I brought Elements 11 on Wednesday, Amazon have it for £32 instead of £60 at the moment. Probably means version 12 is about to be released!
Bill Phillips: Photomatix and Lightroom Brian.
These skies of yours are terrific Bill!
Bill Phillips: Thank you kindly Richard

Hi Bill, yes will post gain eventually - I ventured into taking photos in RAW over the summer, but then had big problems trying to download off my camera. I have finally manged to do it, but now I have a huge backlog of photos to view and probably should be 'tweaked'! Computers are not my strong point!!
Bill Phillips: RAW is the way to go. If you can get to grips with Lightroom you will get a lot from those RAW pictures. you can try it as a free download.

Cheap at half the price. I'd rather have this than some pokey flat in Knightsbridge for a heck of a lot more. Still no sign of the apocalypse.
Bill Phillips: London is another planet
I actually got it for 2.1 million. Needs a bit of work, though.
Bill Phillips: The 70's bathrooms put me off!
