Fabulous shot Bill! Very bucolic setting and everyone seems to be enjoying the hike.
Bill Phillips: Oh ar my dear. This is the part of the country the Archers is based in!

Hmmmmm?

I am trying to spot Ange, Bill, but you have not shown that many shots of her bottom thus far so I don't have a lot of reference material to work with.
Bill Phillips: Second from the left Ray
A fine outdoor shot and a link to a classic... what more can I ask? smile
Bill Phillips: Then enjoy!
great shot and nicely exposed. did you all carry umbrellas?
Bill Phillips: Nope...didn't rain!
I've not met her, but I believe she's second from the left - she has dark hair doesn't she?
Another great shot- with a wonderful moody sky!
Bill Phillips: Correct E. Hopefully you will get to meet her next year
PS - I love that song - I've danced many times to that catchy tune! smile
Bill Phillips: It is very catchy!!

And you (the last person on the left) are with her - but, sorry, you are the photographer - I had lifted my eyes to gaze at this dramatic sky!
Bill Phillips: The chap on the left at the back is my good friend Grahame. You couldn't meet a nicer bloke

Second from left? The sky has slightly abated but it still looks as if it is made partly of lead..
Bill Phillips: Correct!! You have heard the expression under leaden skies I would imagine

Oh, yes, I see Ange, Bill. And I see the spectacular countryside and sky, too!
Bill Phillips: It is fine countryside around here Ginnie. I would love to take you and Astrid to see some of it

She is not the one with his hands behind his back at the back with the grey hair.
Bill Phillips: Funnily enough you are correct Ridge. Why don't you go and take some pictures of churches?

Nothing like it - hope it didn't rain - unless you are an Egytian!
Bill Phillips: Not a drop fell and it got quite hot later....still we were safely in the pub by then Mike

Run Billy run. There is rain in the sky.

Nice bunch of girls, the Bangles.
Bill Phillips: Not a drop fell. Yes they seemed nice!

Best of the series, Bill. Very nice.
Bill Phillips: Thank you Mary. Pleased you like it
This has been a very nice series of images. Will the last one show your arrival at the pub?
Bill Phillips: It was supposed to but was such a rotten picture even I wouldn't post it!
I can hardly spot her from that angle Bill! This seems to be a long walk...
Bill Phillips: Only about 4 miles Richard. Mind you that was long enough for me
Very strong sky again although not so much of the blue as yesterday. It's interesting to see the wide path the farmer has left, most unusual.
Bill Phillips: He probably gets paid to do that
Lovely clouds, Bill. On the way to the pub?
Bill Phillips: Sure was!
stormy monday, Bill
Bill Phillips: It turned out to be a hot day later JC! Still by then we were in the pub
Looks like it's a bout to rain. You can almost smell it. Cool shot Bill
Bill Phillips: Actually it didn't and later is was really quite hot. Mind you by then we were in the pub
I love that you are able to walk, without fear of being accosted by irate landowners, through what looks to be private property, Bill. England is such a civilized country.
Bill Phillips: There are long established footpaths and there are laws to protect access and to ensure that they are not destroyed. As long a walkers keep to the paths and realise that the farms are a vital industry and damaging crops or disturbing livestock isn't clever then the farmers are generally very good. You can't blame them getting irate if people cause damage. It is their livelihood after all.

Those clouds look a bit ominous
Bill Phillips: They weren't really!
Intrepid explorers. Nice capture Bill.
Bill Phillips: Fearless John
Lovely sky, but couldn't understand a single word of the (loose use of the term) song!
Bill Phillips: It's not that bad!! OK they can't actually sing but that didn't do Bob Dylan any harm!
