Droitwich on a Sunday Morning 2

This is Victoria Square. For those not familiar with my plugs for the town I will tell you that the building on the left is the library and used to be a cinema and before that was called Salters Hall. The statue is in memory of the salt workers and water is supposed to flow but it only worked for a few days and has never worked since. A farmer's market is held in the square on the first Saturday of the month, which is the main reason we decided on the first Saturday as the date for our book sale as the town is usually busy because of the market.

Beautiful shot Bill! I love that early morning light.
Bill Phillips: I wish I could bottle it!

No pigeons, rats, humans, or any other vermin in sight, Bill.

Droitwich is a sound-stage between productions....
Bill Phillips: There was a somewhat odd character on a bench around the corner on the left. I kept out of sight being, by nature, a total coward

I like the morning light and the low angle
Bill Phillips: Used the tripod on all this series vintage. Made for a slightly different viewpoint
Great image of the square Bill... and good planning for the book sale....petersmile
Bill Phillips: I think it was Ange's idea!
A really lovely shot Bill! Makes me want to visit!
Bill Phillips: I would be happy to show you round. You could bring Frank....and Mick at a pinch

The wide and beautiful plazas of Droitwich have come to mock my feeble attempts at snide denigration. I shall spend the rest of the day locked in a hermit's cell
Bill Phillips: Let it be a lesson to you

Another picture of your beautiful town, Bill. Chris is being made to eat his words, I see
Bill Phillips: He needed bringing down a peg or two grin

When you show it like this, Bill, it looks like a model city from a planner's sketch. I'm most impressed, Sir Phillips.
Bill Phillips: Perhaps you will get to judge for yourself Ginnie smile
nice wide view of the place Bill. nicely presented too
Bill Phillips: I am obliged to you young sir

Great shot and I love the treatment. Sunday mornings are the best time to take some shots.

The town needs a plug to let all the rainwater out.
Bill Phillips: Oh you are a wag

Brilliant Bill, you prove the photographic point that it is possible to make anywhere look good.
Bill Phillips: You should try it sometime

I like your early morning light.
Bill Phillips: It was worth dragging myself out of bed for Mary
I must admit this all looks rather nice, I think we are being mislead by others who's names are better not mentioned in this place!
Bill Phillips: They are scurrilous to a degree worthy of the tabloid press

So is the normal crowd for Droitwich as its not a market day? I'm impressed with the lack of litter.
Bill Phillips: It doesn't get lively until about 10.00am
Very good Bill. Like the use of the low wide angle.
Bill Phillips: Thanks John. I used my tripod and I really must use it more

I just don't understand why the square is not full of people doing their Tai Chi morning exercises
Bill Phillips: This isn't Southwold.
A lovely shot of this fictitious town, Bill smile
Bill Phillips: Don't you start Tom. I get enough grief from Chad and Chris!
Another nice early morning shot. Droitwich looks very nice.
