It doesn't look like desert to me, Bill but, I suppose, the Dutch don't have any dry land...
Bill Phillips: They have a lot but it is little bits surrounded by water grin

Wonderful blue sky thats one very big barge on the river
Bill Phillips: The barges are huge and when you see one empty you realise just how much they are carrying. They seem to live on them and have a car stowed on the roof!

First of all, Bill, congratulations on winning your prize! I hope you "spend" it well...and tell us all about it afterwards.

Secondly, those horses were really frolicking around that day at the castle, weren't they!
Bill Phillips: They were indeed. I was a bit worried at first that they were in difficulty but they clearly weren't

Well your prize winning entry seems quite good ... I assume that you and the other two winners were the only entrants.

But seriously: well done
Bill Phillips: I have a sneaky feeling that you are probably right Richard.

Oh well done on your winning photograph. Was this taken before or after your masterclass with Richard T? This is a fine image, too; I like the inclusion of the pond.
Bill Phillips: Well before. Note the absence of people
Enchanted, Bill, the horse looking over adds the otherworldly quality, as if peering into ours!

Congratulations on your prize winning photo, it is a cracker! smile
