Bill Phillips: It gives a sense of period I hope Peter
Very interesting boats Bill! I like your processing - makes it feel so old!

We see these salmon boats come into our Gorinchem harbor at least once a year, Peter. They make quite a show. I'm so glad we were able to see them in their own Woudrichem harbor across the river from us. And I really like your old-timey processing.
Bill Phillips: It semed appropriate Ginnie. You are lucky to have so many boats nearby

I always thought a salmon scow was a meal made from salmon, scows and a lettuce leaf or two
Bill Phillips: WEll shows what you know then doesn't it?

YOu are adventuresome, Bill
Bill Phillips: I have been called many things but adventuresome isn't one of them Lisl
Are those oars on the side or a work surface that pops up when needed? Such an interesting vessel. I am guessing the cover is for rain.
Bill Phillips: If I remember correctly Astrid told me it is actually a keel that can be raised or lowered depending on the depth of water
Nice little Dutch boats aren't they. I hadn't seen them before
Bill Phillips: Nor had I Janet. They have great charm
Love the effect you've used on this Bill. Interesting photo.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Pauline. I thought it suited them
