Bill Phillips: We didn't buy any. As I said to Philine, my Grandfather was a cobbler in Lancashire and almost certainly made clogs. He certainly sold them in his shops.
Many many times I walked this market, during lunch-break, and I never get tired of it. So many beautiful flowers allover.

The original song from 1957...
Bill Phillips: It is almost as bad as Max Bygraves version
What a great mix of things and colours in these shops. In 1963 I bought my parents a windmill musical box back from Amsterdam, well I was only 19. My Dad wound it up too much and broke the spring, my Mum didn't arf give him what for. We've still got it actually, are we sad or what!
Bill Phillips: Very Brian We resisted buying clogs or windmills
