Sticks out [like a Dingo's Donger], Bill...the turning point for our "jog on the beach" outing, I suppose?
Bill Phillips: Gobsmacked by your comment maaaaate!!!
The peaceful scene belies the situation. I'm not sure about some of the things he's saying... but I can guess...
Bill Phillips: And you will probably be right

I'm gob smackeded Bill, Sellafield in all its glory. An amusing little ditty and nit makes sense compared to the one you played. Amusing lyrics.
Bill Phillips: Sizewell Chad....Sizewell. Yes this song is amusing the other one was dull
Sticks out like a ''gnats nipple''. Bit of an eye sore in some peoples eyes. I'm surprised that they didn't build 120 wind turbines instead.

Comrade Chadruski: I know your spelling is normally pretty rubbishy but your spelling of Sizewell is a bit below par ... even for you.
Bill Phillips: Strewth! Ray has really started something now

But it is a CHOCCIE BOX nuclear power station!
Bill Phillips: But of course
You can't beat a good nuclear power station .They should build more..Do you now glow in the dark and sparks come out of your winky when you wee.
Bill Phillips: Always have done!

This photo could make my day - wonder- wonderful clouds!

But now I read Chad's comment:
Oh, I saw Sellafield in the Lakes- this might be the nuclear power station in Suffolk!
Bill Phillips: Indeed this is Sizewell and we are in Suffolk

This song sounded like you could sing this. grin
Chad will be so happy.
Great shot and I see you kept your distance.
Bill Phillips: Paddy Roberts was actually South African

As Astrid played the song, I actually thought it WAS you singing. HA! It sounds like something you'd sing, Sir Bill, with a nuclear power station in the distance!
Bill Phillips: I used to know the words

You have been borrowing Chris's skies out of the shed.
Until I came to the UK I never imagined vast open spaces like this. Terrific shot
Bill Phillips: 60 million people on a little island and yet lots of empty bits
it's good to take distance from nuclear stations Bill, very smart!
Bill Phillips: It is owned by EDF....need I say more ??
Best place for it too...
Bill Phillips: They have tours I believe.....why I can't imagine

The main picture is a likey.
Bill Phillips: I glow with pride Louis
A rater fine shot, proving we do have some good days occasionally.
Bill Phillips: It was cold but the sun shone and he skies were great
Blow the power station, you got a rather fine east Anglian "big sky" here Bill.
Bill Phillips: Suffolk did me proud Brian!
A wonderful composition Bill!
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much Richard. i'm pleased you like it

Well you wouldn't want to get too close now would you. Fine example of mans intervention in the landscape.
Bill Phillips: Apparently it is seen as a source of employment. I suppose that is true

I know where you are. There's a NT cafe just off to your right and behind you. The people of Sizewell actually welcome the building of a new nuclear power station as it brings work to the region and they know its safe.
Bill Phillips: They said the Titanic was safe
And a good deal of untapped power in those clouds!
Bill Phillips: And no disposing of waste
The clouds, horizon, seashore and the lines across Minsmere, all centring on the power station. make a very good dynamic picture, Bill.
Bill Phillips: I am obliged to you sir

Fab scenery-shame about the nuclear power station! It certainly doesn't spoil your photo though!
Bill Phillips: It has been there for quite along time
