This looks really grim in black & white.
Bill Phillips: Wasn't much better in colour Frances

Pull out the concrete...grind it down and bung it in landfill...fling saplings all over the place...stand back...

Better already!
Bill Phillips: In your dreams. Houses and "apartments" flogged as a canalside development and probably given a silly name like waterview
I like the grim reality of regeneration
Bill Phillips: You just like Grim Trim
Everything starts from scratch
Bill Phillips: Very true. This site seems to have been waiting for the scratching to start for a while now

Wow - ythis is a lovely side of Droitwich that you clearly haven't shown us before!
Bill Phillips: A canal side location that will eventually be housing

I hope you are in a better mood today than this 'grim' (I learnt a new word) picture may show - but there is hope that fine apartments will be there next spring. In our newspaper I read that British properties are highly appreciated, and if the Russians will be leaving Cyprus, maybe, they will prefer to immigrate to GB.
Bill Phillips: I am in a very sunny mood Philine, despite the weather. What is going on in Cyprus is very worrying and may have very serious repercussions across Europe.
I really do hope this is the pre, not post, regeneration scene for this area of Droitwich smile
Bill Phillips: Actually this might be better than the post scene Brian grin
I'm sure the future occupants of the houses and apartments built on this canalside site will pay a pretty penny for the privilege, Bill.
Bill Phillips: I imagine there will be a premium for the apparent advantage of living next to a canal
Builders will be kept busy for a while Bill...Fine capture!
Bill Phillips: They seem to be a long time starting on this bit Richard
Looks more under- than re- !
Bill Phillips: Well I suppose you could say that. Mind you inertia seems be the current situation
