Try doing that with the pews!

Great shot, Bill, even though the book stall is out of frame.
Bill Phillips: It would be difficult...ever tried shifting a pew let alone trying to make it into a circle?

Book sale next Saturday
Great framing Bill... are they about to have a group therapy session with the chairs in a circle....petersmile
Bill Phillips: Perhaps it was a Sunday school class!
Oh yes, the inside is gorgeous!
Bill Phillips: Unusually colourful for an English church
pew!!!! Someone has been in and had a party. ( and they didn't need to thumb through yellow pages to get the place cleaned up)
Bill Phillips: They might have seen that program on Channel 4 about the OCD cleaners. One of them is the son of a friend of ours!

Wonderful Sunday Church - at first service, then tea time - wonderfully communicative - I hope the attendants will be flocking to this lovely church! And all looks very tidy - Richard put on the wrong glasses!
Bill Phillips: It is a delight inside Philine isn't it?

Here it is deepest winter - snowing without any end since yesterday - such a church might be a bit confy, but not as confy as at home!
Bill Phillips: It is cold here but no snow. Keep warm Philine

Very nice indeed: love the banding on the pillars
Bill Phillips: It wasn't what I expected and I rather like it

I like the colours and the architecture here but rather concerned about the layout of the chairs. It's not one of those happy, clappy places, I hope?
Bill Phillips: I hope not Alan
I am impressed Bill.
Bill Phillips: It wasn't what I expected when I went in
A very different seating arrangement for a church.
Bill Phillips: perhaps it was a Sunday school class or something.
It is certainly a very attractive church, I could take plenty of photos in there. I can understand the layout of the chairs, perhaps some sort of meeting extra to Sunday services but the tables don't seem to fit in at all.
Bill Phillips: Tea and buns after a bit of worshipping is not uncommon these days I understand
Excellent capture! Bill The colors are soothing to the soul!. Gorgeous!
Bill Phillips: It is unusual for the inside of an English church. Well in my experience anyway
What a beautiful place with these tones and light Bill!
Bill Phillips: I was quite surprised when I went in Richard
What very restful colours. Splendid for a church interior.
Bill Phillips: I don't think I've seen an interior quite like this before Graeme
I hate to miss a book sale... I like the arrangement of the chairs...
Bill Phillips: Well hop on a plane quick because we have one coming up on Saturday Larry
This is unusual right? ... for the inside of an English church?? I prefer the look of pews myself. Good capture though.
Bill Phillips: It is quite unusual I think Jacquelyn. Not what I expected inside a Victorian Church. I know some churches want to get rid of pews to make the building more flexible in use
