I think that it's safe to say that they didn't need the sign Bill... great find....petersmile
Bill Phillips: I can't imagine catching much other than a cold Peter grin
I don't know how you found that stupid song - but the beat had me up dancing through the entire thing! smile
Bill Phillips: This chap was working in a market in London selling fish and would sing this to the customers. It got posted on you tube and went viral!! . A record company took it up and did a professional recording and video and it got a lot of downloads and got into the charts!!
the loss for fishing was a gain for photography, I suppose? smile
Bill Phillips: Only a very small gain Ayush wink

But today is Friday and fish meals are common in many families today. But I think in England there might not be a lack of fishes. The river has surely a name?
Bill Phillips: This was actually a pond Philine but our river is called the Salwarpe.
No I still don't want to move to Droitwich.
Bill Phillips: That is the best news I have had in a long time
More and more places are private, aren't they Bill?
Fine capture!
Bill Phillips: I think you are right Richard. Our freedoms are being eroded in all sorts of ways

If it keeps on alternating between rain and snow I will be able to fish from my bedroom window so don't let the book go just yet!

That video looks scary!!!
Bill Phillips: This was the bloke who was working in the market and they posted him singing this song on You tube . A record company took it up and the whole thing went mad on You tube and downloads!!

No problem, Droitwich can offer sausages and salt - these are the elementary products!
Bill Phillips: Quite right Philine. Actually we have a couple of very good fish and chip shops too grin
My son would just hate this sign!
Bill Phillips: I imagine he would Brian

No point in slinking your hook here then smile
Bill Phillips: Very witty Alan
I have always tried to ignore those signs grin Great video Bill!
Bill Phillips: The £1 fish thing went viral but I don't know if he has been allowed back into this country!
Is the notice maybe to protect the Droitwich Sausage Fish which is probably a protected species?
Bill Phillips: I am not sure I would want to catch a sausage fish Pauline

Bill Phillips: Who do you think you are Ken Dodd?

Private means: pay up or go away.
Bill Phillips: I think it just means go away in this case Louis

Bill Phillips: Almost anything would be better than fishing Fred

This was a nice earner for him - he did well
Bill Phillips: I wonder if he will ever be heard of again?
Big question - are there any fish in there?
Bill Phillips: I suspect not Tom
I like the light and then the shadows on the river ...
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much Ann
