A wander around Droitwich 5

Old Tiffo could sit here and watch the traffic go by.....funny place to stick a bench alongside a busy road.

Too luxe for old Tiffo, Bill...if he gets too comfy he might fall asleep, and get frozen...
Bill Phillips: I'd cover him with old newspapers to keep him warm

Am I allowed to take seat there, too -I think this bench is so stable to carry some persons at the same time! I like the angle of this photo and the blue- purple toning!
Bill Phillips: I am sure Chris would happily share with you Philine, and so would I

I like Simon & Garfunkel, this song and other ones very much!
Bill Phillips: They were very good

I like the workings on the arm of this bench!
Bill Phillips: It is quite a smart bench Helen

Great photograph Bill, really good. Tiff could sit here relaxed in the know;ledge that it is unlikely to collapse at any moment.
Bill Phillips: Thank you Chad. It would be comforting to think that Tiff would be safe

Just so long as he doesn't start shouting and gesticulating too!
Bill Phillips: It's not easy to stop him though

A benchmark Bill. Recently on Radio 4 I heard the rather sad story of folk singer Jackson C Frank, someone who had passed my radar. Mentored by Paul Simon and he also covered Frank's most famous song 'Blues Run the Game'.
Bill Phillips: I can't say I've come across him either.

Perhaps its for people who like to sit at the side of a busy road having a picnic. Simon & Garfunkel were great.
Bill Phillips: Everyone of a certain age bought the Bridge over troubled water Album
Quite a nice bench end isn't it.
Bill Phillips: Not a bad bit of council street furniture Brian

I wouldn't sit there with a view of passing traffic. Whaddya think I am??
Bill Phillips: An old git.
At least he didn't carry it along!
Very nicely captured Bill.
Bill Phillips: He would given the chance
Handy if the car breaks down, though.
Bill Phillips: I would never get that lucky
But what a lovely bench it is - I love your point of view! One of my favorite songs
Bill Phillips: Trouble is I am not that far away from the age they are singing about, but when i bought the bookends album 70 seemed a very long way away!!
