Wonderful shot...perfect capture...
Bill Phillips: Thank you Kumar
So cute - I hope to be a little more lively at that age... smile
Bill Phillips: They were pretty lively. mind you some of our Lions members are as old as the "old folk" we take on this annual trip!

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww. I wonder if Astrid and I will look like this 10 years from now??? grin
Bill Phillips: not a chance. You'll still be running around taking pictures all over the world!
''Inspite what they say about grain bread being healthy for you i hate it when seeds get stuck in me dentures.''

Loveley take Bill.
Bill Phillips: you need polygrip!
It's all about sharing! This is a really terrific image Bill.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Sally. This was taken on our annual Lions blossom run when we take a coach load of people from Droitwich to Bidford on Avon through the Vale of Evesham, hopefully seeing the fruit trees in blossom on the way. You should see the number of cups of tea they get through!

Oh, what for a wonderful photo of an old couple -in a senior home! Yes, this is love - till the end! The Sir looks very similar a certain Mr. Bill!
This is the best photo of the day!

What a sweet and moving capture Bill! Well done.
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much Richard. Pleased you like it
Spot on Bill, but it looks dark again .
Bill Phillips: Dark on mine too Mick. Intentionally with the vignette to take out the busy background and with the ladies i wanted to emphasise the white hair and make it very intimate. It is perhaps a bit too dark!

They are going to drop off over their sarnies, Bill
Bill Phillips: no danger of that...the sing along was next!
Looks like they are making the most of their later years Bill. Lovely candid

fine shot. i do like the way they look somewhat similar in some respects. what Ray said, it actually might be true you know grin
Bill Phillips: Hashaha I hope not as I helped make some of the sandwiches!
You've made this very intimate, Bill, as if we are listening into their conversation - very nice!
Bill Phillips: That was the plan Martin so i'm pleased if it has worked

Oh, two ladies! I thought of an old couple in A.C.D's senior house, haha, but I wondered about the fine silk shirt of the man! Fruit trees in blossom- this must have been a lovely grand day- out - last year I too travelled to the fruit tree blossom in Altes Land nr. Hamburg. I can imagine how charming you are to the old ladies and sirs! You should post this photo in your Lions' Club brochure!
Bill Phillips: The original colour version is on our Lions website as part of a collage

A charming candid, Bill. Well done! I'm struck by the beautiful and intricate lacework of the doilies on the headrest. Are these typical of British coaches?
Bill Phillips: These are actually chairs at the centre where we took the people to give them afternoon tea. The lace is rather nice though

"I SAID "I DON'T LIKE CUCUMBER SANDWICHES" "

"yes, it has turned out nice again, hasn't it?"

"IS YOUR HEARING AID WORKING?"

"I think he's on TV tonight"
Bill Phillips: No don't mock....one day this could be you....well obviously I'm not suggesting you have a sex change but you know what I mean. grin
I bet these ladies, and the rest of the people on your trip out, have a great day Bill, all credit to you and your colleagues for arranging this. Oh and I really like the image as well.
Bill Phillips: They do Brian. We have been doing it for years but the catering is getting more difficult as these days you have to have qualifications to prove you won't poison anyone. I despair sometimes.
Lovely shot, they are enjoying their sandwiches - bless them.
Bill Phillips: They are a nice bunch that we take and they always seem to enjoy themselves, so it is ell worth it!
Very warm and intimate... well done!
Bill Phillips: Thanks Larry.
And where's Gromit when you need him?
Bill Phillips: My Hero Gromit!!
Nicely executed picture, Bill.
Bill Phillips: I am obliged to you
