15 quid for a pump-out...strewth, Bill, its enough to make a bloke hold on for the whole long weekend...
Bill Phillips: It sounds like a painful operation to me
The boats look nice and shiny... and green ???
Bill Phillips: We are all encouraged to be green these days Elizabeth

a nice three stooges meeting: Bill, Chris and Chad (from le to ri)! I wonder about the thingies which are hanging down up front of them ?
Bill Phillips: The thingies are there, I believe, to absorb the impact should you bump the pointed end of the boat into things.
Pump outs £15 ... Clever ploy and easy money when you are, euphemistically, caught short without a penny.
Bill Phillips: Where there's muck there's brass Richard
This is a lovely shot Bill, the lighting is superb.
Bill Phillips: Thank you kindly Sally
A green Friday Bill! Are they feeling sick?
Bill Phillips: They will be if they look at this for long enough Richard

Looking a bit green around the gills though ;o)
Bill Phillips: I'm not a good sailor Mike
I like the shiny green effect Bill
Bill Phillips: Thanks very much Janet
Is this on the canal at Droitwich? They are certainly moored very close together, you wouldn't get out in a hurry.
Bill Phillips: It is indeed, well Hanbury Wharf if i remember correctly Brian

All look very similar. Hahah at Vintage and Chris.
Bill Phillips: They are all very similar is why Alan
I like the tight crop, but not sure about the toning,Bill, I bet there were some nice vivid colours there.
Bill Phillips: There were but I decided to replace them with a sickly graduated green. grin
I like how you've made the boats fill out the frame, Bill smile
Bill Phillips: It was partly necessity Martin

You are gettig better, Bill - next time stand back a little!
Bill Phillips: Good heavens why? If you look at the middle boat you can picture what the missing bits on the other boats probably look like. Honestly, some people want it handed to them on a plate gringringrin
It's good that they tied the three of them together with the same rope... makes it easier to steal all three Bill... you could have used a blue filter here or is that the colour of the canal watersmile....petersmile
Bill Phillips: I could have done lots of things Peter. But I chose this odd shade of green grin
..bet you did not have any other color at hand!
Bill Phillips: Well it's different smile
But at least no odorama on SC, I must admit I have not pondered toilet facilities on a narrow boat, but I suppose someone had to smile
Bill Phillips: I imagine they are more savoury than when these craft were originally built
Now here's a very technical question - does a canal barge count as a boat, or do we throw you out for misrepresentation? smile It's a nice pic, mind you!
Bill Phillips: These are not barges they are Narrowboats specifically designed to fit the narrow canals of the UK. So these are boats and not barges. Q.E.D

Pleased you like the pic Tom smile
fine shot and i like the tint here
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much Ayush
