The bench looks pristine, Bill...perhaps Chris could...
Bill Phillips: Naaaaaa not a cat in 'ell's chance Ray
Another noir day in Droitwich...
Bill Phillips: I have crossed to the dark side Larry
This is a very good capture of light... shadows and angles Bill... the bench seems to have sucked up most of the sunlight....petersmile
Bill Phillips: It had Peter, it was very strange

Thought this was Chris's new bench in the thumb ... I was getting seriously worried that he was having a New Year resolution wish of becoming all materialistic or something.
Bill Phillips: His bench will probably outlast him Richard

The wide open spaces where townspeople & tourists alike can stroll & take the air - Paris has the same idea
Bill Phillips: But, of course, Droitwich does it so much better
The skateboard ramp looks a bit of a challenge
Bill Phillips: When they built this I queried the thinking behind building an artificial ski slope in the centre of the town

Lovely light on the birch tree - compliments the celestial bench perfectly.
Bill Phillips: I should have photoshopped Tiff into the picture being carried off by the choir celestial
You have presented this bench in a very good light Bill
Bill Phillips: It was just there looking like that Janet

The elements of light in this are very good, watch out blackdog, the student is coming.
Bill Phillips: Hahahaha! He is the master of gloooom
Excellent shot of dark, dreary Droitwich.
Bill Phillips: no wonder i am always depressed
A very fine solitude Bill!
Bill Phillips: A brief moment when there was nobody about

Droitwich looks extremely neat and tidy, Bill
Bill Phillips: It doesn't usually Lisl. Must have been all the rain keeping the dirty buggers off the streets
This looks seriously interesting.
I think I will have to start searching for colour postcards of Droitwich. LOL!
Bill Phillips: The best known landmark in the centre of Droitwich is the Raven Hotel. It is a black and white building gringringringringrin
Another great BW capture capture Bill.
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much Fred. I showed my daughter the Art Deco station and the bus station and she was much impressed

Lovely lighting, do you get a good view from this well lit bench?
Bill Phillips: Not really, just a row of shops across the road
I like the bench, but rather a strange looking building behind.
Bill Phillips: That is Salter's Hall which became a cinema and then a library. They added the ski run when they changed it into the latter. Nobody knows why. (This is the same reply i gave to Tom)
That's a funny looking building! smile

The light on the bench makes this for me. It looks like it could be a pattern for Chris' bench repair. Tick VG.
Bill Phillips: That is a mere pipe dream Alan
Ange been out with the camera again Bill. She knows what makes a good image.
Bill Phillips: She is superior to me in every way Mick.
Too much going on here for me...Nice light on the bench though!
Bill Phillips: Too much going on? This is Droitwich Frank. Nothing is ever going on grin
I like the selective light on the bench Bill. Great capture!
Bill Phillips: It actually looked like this Richard
What a good picture of light and lines, Bill. How did most of the light end up under the bench, though?
Bill Phillips: I think because it was dry under the bench and thus the paving slabs are lighter Graeme
A lovely, lonely bench! Great capture of light and shadows!
Bill Phillips: Thinking about it I have seldom seen anyone actually sitting on it
Good b&w Bill, the bench for the chosen one?
Bill Phillips: It would be totally wasted on the likes of him John
