Christmas day in the workhouse

It was Christmas Day in the workhouse
The merriest day of the year
The paupers and the prisoners
Were all assembled there

In came the Christmas pudding
When a voice that shattered glass
Said, "We don't want your Christmas pudding
So stick it
there with the rest of the unwanted presents"

Wherever you are, what ever you believe I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and spend it with those who mean the most to you

Yes, we should think of the people on the other side, too! Christmas is still a beautiful feast in our world the humans do celebrate - and I wish you and yours Merry Christmas!
Bill Phillips: It is a day to be thankful for what we have Philine. I feel very lucky to have a lovely family and some very good friends. I, naturally include you in the latter
