What an astonishing shot Bill.
Bill Phillips: Thank you Sally smilesmile
Mellow yellow or yellow peril? Who knows.

Yellows and blues hold hands very comfortably don't they.
Bill Phillips: Two primary colours

I guess that would be your rapeseed, Bill? Astrid and I were both mesmerized by it this year when we were in England. And then against that sky!!!
Bill Phillips: Indeed Ginnie. a controversial introduction in recent years.

Either way, it's a cracking view with the colours complementing each other very well. What's that whitish building up on the left?
Bill Phillips: I think it is just a house. Probably a farm

What did you pay Mr. Evans for this incredible sky???
Great shot.
Bill Phillips: This is an authentic Worcestershire sky from "Shed's am we" in Dudley

Thank goodness a better song today Bill. An interesting effect in your image but hardly mellow.
Bill Phillips: Marginally, ELO never did much for me.
Those clouds you captured are fascinating; i like that little house on the left, by the mustard fields...
Bill Phillips: Nice fair weather clouds, unlike today when it has poured down almost all day!
Could do with being a touch lighter for me, Bill, ( I know, pot, kettle, black,an' all!) Otherwise I like it,the blue and yellow working well together.Whats wrong with Mr blue sky! ? smile
Bill Phillips: I have got this as my desktop at the moment. It is darker on Shutterchance. Interestingly my picture on Friday shows a hedge in silhouette. You can see the detail clearly on the computer. It seems SC darkens things!
ELO never did a lot for me!
Did you drive a half mile back, or did you use a long lens yesterday? Very good shot Bill: dark, but I like it! The sky is tops smile
Bill Phillips: No and yes Martin. see my comment to Frank re darkness
Cracking sky Bill, and wherever it is one can see for miles it seems.
Bill Phillips: Hanbury Church and yes you can see for miles
Cracking sky Bill, and wherever it is one can see for miles it seems.
Bill Phillips: Ditto reply grin
Fantastic colours, really outstanding.
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much Pauline, i really appreciate your comment

ELO are OK for nostalgia, I liked Jeff's contribution to the Traveling Wilburys. Just spreading some OSR on my toast smile
Bill Phillips: I love the Wilburys, what a line up! As I recall a lot of the credit for getting them together and the production was down to Jeff Lynn

Brilliant contrast with yellow and blue - a lovely picture Bill
Bill Phillips: Thanks Anne. Oilseed rape certainly makes for easy pictures!
Rapeseed seems to grow everywhere! Stunning image Bill.
Bill Phillips: Like a weed Richard but it must be a useful crop for farmers
Fine depth and contrasts going on here Bill!
Bill Phillips: Pleased you like it Fred
Mr Blue is best smile
Bill Phillips: As a nominal Birmingham City supporter I have to agree Tom grin

If you don't like ELO, why didn't you load Donovan instead?:

Electrical banana
Is gonna be a sudden craze
Electrical banana
Is bound to be the very next phase

They call it mellow yellow
(Quite rightly)
They call me mellow yellow
(Quite rightly)
They call me mellow yellow

Well, that is if all the electricity is OK with you. The picture shows flashes of electrical banana ... yellow smile Another brilliant one from Bill.
Bill Phillips: Ah that won't do as the songs are the alternative to Donovan's Mellow Yellow,
Smashing sky, Bill, and the yellow really does set it off.
Bill Phillips: Cheers Graeme
The field yesterday was good, but this is fab!! The clouds are great
Bill Phillips: Pleased you like it Sarah, thank you smile
I really love how the dark blue sky makes the yellow stand out even more!
Bill Phillips: It doesn't seem to have stopped raining since these pictures were taken in the spring!
