Very nice shot Bill. love the horizon line...
Bill Phillips: Thanks Kumar.
Lovely! Is the valley below full of buttercups, or mustard, or...?? It's such a bright yellow!
Bill Phillips: Oil seed rape Elizabeth. a crop that has become increasingly common here in recent years.
beautiful shot. i like the shade of the blue sky here
Bill Phillips: It was a rare lovely day this year Ayush
I've just set up my last few post Christmas images for 2012 ... You have stolen my fire Mr Phillips.

Ohhhhh, Buttercups! This is lovely, Bill, reminding me of the buttercup china my mom inherited from her mom while I was still young!
Bill Phillips: Well I'm glad to have prompted the memory Ginnie
Speechless,overcome.
Bill Phillips: Well you know what they say....speech is silver but silence is golden

Nothing wrong with this Bill but the dandelion stalk does seem to steal the show ;o) Remember the song - in fact I remember most of the chart from the same period.

Sabre Dance, Love Child, Breakin' Down the Walls of Heartache, Eloise and of course Lily the Pink. Hey Jude, All along the Watchtower and Light My fire were slipping away.
Bill Phillips: It seems a bit harsh to rip the poor old dandelion out Mike. Eloise was a dreadful record.....

I really really like this - the clouds, the foreground and the colours, but I think I might have been tempted to remove the dandelion smile
Bill Phillips: Thee votes to remove the poor little dandelion sad

A wonderful photograph and a horrible song. I might have removed the dandylion Bill, it is distracting me from enjoying the buttercups.
Bill Phillips: You seem to be in a group of three who feel thus. A parcel arrived for me today from Stanley Moore. I have placed it under the Christmas tree as it does not appear to be ticking
Great POV and colours Bill! Memories of a spring past smile
Bill Phillips: Little did we know how much rain was in store for us!
Really pretty shot. I miss summer.
Bill Phillips: It will return Mary...sooner than we think grin
Lovely capture Bill, so evocative!
Bill Phillips: Taken from Hanbury Churchyard near us. rural Worcestershire smile

Reminds me of spring; won't be long now. We've had our week of winter with its slightly nippy weather and now its warming up in time for a Christmas BBQ.
Bill Phillips: Nice mild wet Christmas. would I'm dreaming of a grey Christmas sold 25 million copies?
Nice presentation Bill, oh that it was that time of year again.
Bill Phillips: It soon will be Brian.
