Sky One

Yesterday evening for a few minutes this was the sky from my back garden.

Fabulous colours. It looks like there is about to come an invasion from outer space.
Good to have your camera ready to go on any moment.

Bill Phillips: Haha We used to think airmail was quick!

Yes, saw this on FB last night. Wonderful image - dire prognostications are indeed about to befall on Droitwich Spa.

From your back garden - that is where the shed is? You do keep some nice sky there smile
Bill Phillips: No the shed is next door to the other Phillips. This is not one of his skies, it is all mine smile
So what exactly is unusual about this,Bill? smile
Bill Phillips: Nothing up your way but here we live in a more gentle area wink
I commented elsewhere on this picture. Seeing it bigger on SC, reinforces my admiration for it.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Sheila, I saw your other comment too
LOL at Paul, great drama and light Bill!
Bill Phillips: It was indeed Fred but only for a few minutes
Isn't that fantastic! That is the first sentence, not the second.
Bill Phillips: LOL! It was a bit special Mary
Did they steal the recipe? grin

A fantastic shot Bill, the belly of the beast was resting right on the town!
Bill Phillips: I am pleased to report the Droitwich sausage is safe
Holey Moley, Bill, this is stupendous; almost unworldly. What a pity if you had missed the opportunity to capture this.
Bill Phillips: It was the fastest I have moved in a long time getting the camera out
Whoa....apocalyptic is a word that instantly springs to mind! 'tis one of those fleeting shots which crop up, usually when I don't have my camera to hand....great image. smile
Bill Phillips: Luckily i keep the camera by the computer!

Yes really good skies yesterday evening. This certainly has an end of days look to it. A good sound track for this would be "The Man Comes Around' by Johnny Cash.
Bill Phillips: Great song. I have got the album.
Those pesky aliens...
Bill Phillips: Nothing but trouble the lot of 'em
Very similar to what we had Bill, I can't get quite such a good view of it from our house.
Bill Phillips: It was certainly dramatic Brian

Not all bad news then. I hope you and yours survived, though. Was it really that colour?
Bill Phillips: It was, I have only enhanced it slightly to get a bit more detail in the clouds
excellent, Bill!
Bill Phillips: Thank you Juan Carlos!
Wow most beautiful and impressive Bill. Isn't the End of the World supposed to happen in a couple of days?
looking at this sky, I really do believe you about the aliens...
Bill Phillips: It is highly plausible Sesan
Stunning shot, Bill
Bill Phillips: It was gone in minutes Tom
Bloody sausages are burning again!
Bill Phillips: Hahaha..............whatever
