The crowd of One certainly seems to be having a jolly time, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Overawed by the look of it Ray
I like the way that you captured this Bill... there are a lot of different colours and reflections....petersmile
Bill Phillips: Most kind Petersmile
I love all the colored lights!
Bill Phillips: So do I. Fairs look nothing in daylight but come to life at night

I wonder if this poor person sold ANYTHING that night??
Bill Phillips: Unless she was selling hot drinks then probably not!

These conditions give more interesting pics than if the fair was busy, Bill
Bill Phillips: Very true Lisl but it was a shame for the fairground people

And I see that it's still raining Droitwursts.

Oh, a Droitweich sausages stand/stall? - a fine night photo - but where are the crowds ('GU' Alan would say) who belong to a fair - even at rainy times?
Bill Phillips: I think it was hot drinks and Marshmallows but I could be wrong about that. The GU would have been very much the GW in all this rain Philine

Lol at Chad!
Bill Phillips: I do that all the time Philine
Love this one Bill. The reflections are so good in the rain and you can almost smell the food the lady is cooking.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Pauline. I hope she got some customers
What a shame. It was all looking so bright and sparkly too
Bill Phillips: It is quite a good little fair and it was such a shame about the weather

I especially like the yellow rubber glove! So muted in this scene, but here it lies quietly next to the green milk...
Bill Phillips: It is from organic cows Mike.
The Hall of Mirrors Cafe? Makes a cracking shot Bill!
Bill Phillips: It's a bit kinky grin
I guess it is not that much fun to go to the fair in the rain - What were you doing there.
Bill Phillips: I kept asking myself that grin Actually it was the opening of our Father Christmas Grotto and the switch on of the Christmas lights. I had been on grotto duty in the morning and went back down in the afternoon to get some pictures of the light switch on which Santa was doing. I took these on the way back to the car, by which time i was very wet and cold!
Drotwhich's answer to Hopper and his Nighthawks
Bill Phillips: Droitwich please!! grin That picture gets everywhere.
Ok I give up,where's the fair.
Bill Phillips: I'm only showing the fun.....hence the title
I'd head for the shooting rangesmile
Bill Phillips: I don't know if there was one.
A fine shot, shame about the weather, it is actually p*****g down as type this!
Bill Phillips: I have just got back from 2 hours of being Santa in the sleigh round the streets. Very wet but it was worth it to see the reaction form the kids....and the parents smile

Brilliant lights and colours, what a shame there were so few around to enjoy them
Bill Phillips: I didn't linger long. It was cold and very wet and i took about 5 pictures of the fair on my way back to the car!
Very nice shot Bill. Not many people around due to the rain I presume!
Bill Phillips: It poured down all afternoon and evening Richard

Such a shame about the lack of the crowds. I like the colours in this.
Bill Phillips: The weather was awful but it was a shame for the fair people.
I like the frame within a frame within a frame. There's a lot in this picture.
Bill Phillips: Cheers Graeme
Fine night shot, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Tom. mind you does about 4.30 count as night? grin
That's real fun, Bill!
