Hmm...you're not thinking of becoming a proper photographer are you?? This picture suggests you might be...
Bill Phillips: I like to bung the odd decent picture in. Can't do it too often as there aren't many of them

You get about a bit, Bill!
Bill Phillips: Some of it is revisiting places I went to when I was working and travelled over most of England and Wales. So now I can go as a tourist!
With my parents having lived in Norwich since 1968 I fully recognize this quaint little side street(now pedestrianised). The local riff raff, well those that can afford to, will know and call this the jewelry quarter because the majority of the emporiums that sell bling have tended to swarm into the same area. Bit like estate agents and charity shops do ... Ooops! No, I'm wrong on that count because they are everywhere now.

You are so lucky that the wet slabs and the shop light reflections have made this a half-decent snap for you Bill. [grin]
Bill Phillips: It was piddling down Richard and this was taken with my little compact. I was rather pleased with the result grin

We had rain in Antwerp a week ago, Bill, but believe it or not, we had no rain in Cologne or Nijmegen this past weekend. We even had sunshine! And right now it's snowing! It won't stick to the ground, though, because it's not cold enough....
Bill Phillips: We have sun here today Ginnie and it has gone a lot warmer. This was a very wet day back in October and by he time we got back to the car I was feeling very soggy!

Was that Cliff Richard in drag? Lanes, Shambles...many towns have these charming streets Bill. Good snap.
Bill Phillips: Craig Douglas best remembered for his number 1 hit Only sixteen. This song is the b side of "our favourite melodies"

There is a Shambles in Worcester....come to think of it most of Worcester is a shambles

Nice looking ally - add soap suds and then sell at a pound a slide.
Bill Phillips: Hahaha you didn't need the soap Louis
Very good capture, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Mary. I am rather pleased with this picture smile
Great atmospheric capture, Bill. For me, it has a bit of a Dickens feel to it.
Bill Phillips: I would guess these streets date back to at least that time Beverly
Great shot Bill! I do like the reflections on the wet paving smile
Bill Phillips: So do i Martin
A beautiful image with its pools of light. Very cinematic!
Bill Phillips: Thanks very much Larry. Pleased you like it
I like this Bill, the reflections look good, I'm sorry you got soaked taking it though. Was this the little Fuji, I'm posting a series this week taken with mine.
Bill Phillips: It was indeed. I decided that it was better to get it wet rather than my other camera!
Great shot Ange, you keep showing Bill how to do it.
Bill Phillips: She's bloody good isn't she Mick....and she can cook
Great shot of street lights Bill!
Bill Phillips: Thank you sir

Looks worthy of exploration. I like these little narrow lanes; gives a town such character.
Bill Phillips: I like Norwich and it is well worth a wander round Alan
Excellent shot Bill!
Bill Phillips: Thanks very much Richard

Lovely light Bill, a great twilight photo.
Bill Phillips: Believe it or not this was about 3pm!
Ha! I've just posted a similar shot for tomorrow. Didn't have those nice wet, shiny pavements, though.
Bill Phillips: Well I will make sure to have a look Graeme
Diagon Alley? smile
Bill Phillips: Oh very good John!
