The Chinafication is well established in Weymouth.
Bill Phillips: It used to be made in hong Kong now it has moved to the mainland
Colorful collage! Enjoyed the Crockett's
Bill Phillips: They are new to me but the song title caught my eye!
It's a very colourful collage Bill... Weymouth seems to be in a holiday spirit with all the banners across the street... the walkways are narrow and the merchandise is flowing out of the shop doors... the pedestrians have to walk on the road....petersmile
Bill Phillips: It was a venue for the Olympic sailing Peter, in fact I think it was the host town for the sailing.

Gosh, this is almost too much Bill. No, it is too much so much clutter for one image, or perhaps that was your intention. I suppose it conveys the impression you gained of all this seaside junk.
Bill Phillips: The seaside junk of buckets and spades and windbreaks is the stuff of my childhood Chad. This is what you see at the English seaside, jolly junk.

Well the colour certainly brightens up the dismal weather!!
Bill Phillips: It does Sally. Weymouth is a nice place and it would look better with a bit of sun!

Weymouth could learn something from Chad's Krakow - noble elegance there - cheap, colourful nepp here - oh, sorry, Piggy and all others's child hearts might jump whilst seeing all this! And GB shows more patriotism (Union flags)than Poland which his know for its patriotism in the history!
Bill Phillips: I grew up with this rubbish on display at the seaside and it hasn't really changed.

You have been seduced by colour today, Bill!
Bill Phillips: I love these seaside shops full of tat. They haven't really changed since I was a kid!

Ahh - I feel some colour is coming back into my life...
Bill Phillips: Weymouth is all in colour Chris. Here we have traditional colourful seaside junk
Has the same seaside feel as Cromer
Bill Phillips: The plethora of pointless plastic pervades all seaside places
It doesn't cost much. It is nice and colourful and it keeps the kids happy. Points in favour of the plastic wares.
Bill Phillips: Very true Janet. It wouldn't be the seaside without it
shopping day, ha!
Bill Phillips: All the stuff you could possibly need on the beach Juan Carlos.

Seaside junk I can take Bill, it is the dayglo colouring I can't stand. What was wrong with red, yellow and blue?

"Residents call for street light return" I see. You would think they could just carry one of these spades to see where they were going ;o)
Bill Phillips: There is probably a health and safety reason for the dayglo colours Mike.
No problem to tell it is a beach town pails and shovels for the sand. I like the music.
Bill Phillips: It hasn't really changed in this respect since i was a kid Mary. I had never heard of the band or the song before, but the title seemed appropriate
All the fun of the seaside on offer, pity about the weather. They will not be needing to restock for some time Bill
Bill Phillips: I suspect they have had a difficult year Martin
Still better than bloody Bournemouth, even if it was cloudy!
Bill Phillips: I prefer Weymouth anyway. Lovely little place.
Nice and colourful Bill, I like the narrow & hilly streets too!
Bill Phillips: Nice place for a wander around Martin
It's no wonder I still feel under the weather looking at this.
Bill Phillips: As the man who posts depressing Armageddon scenes of my home county you deserve to feel ill.

All very colourful. Looks like the windbreaks are on offer; a bargain.
Bill Phillips: I have always been fascinated by the sight of people setting up camp on the beach. Armed with chairs boxes of food and the obligatory collection of windbreaks. I never needed more than a towel :d

Plenty of plastic to choose from for a seaside dig
Bill Phillips: Some things don't really change do they?
YOu are doing the coastal resorts of England proud Bill - they'll probably club together to bug your car with a tracking device for advance warning!
Bill Phillips: Hahahaha I am practising for when I go to Blackpool
A fine collage with warming up colours Bill!
Bill Phillips: Thank you kindly Richard
Another fine collection of shots Bill.
Bill Phillips: Very nice of you to say do Brian
Ha ha, DO give me advance warning of publishing the results so I can build my Mick Shaw-proof hyperspace air shelter! smile
Bill Phillips: I am already building an Andersen shelter in my garden in case Shaw ever comes to Droitwich
I can spend hours wandering Weymouth's quayside as in yesterday's post. This would detain me for a slightly shorter time!
Bill Phillips: What with all those buckets and spades to choose from?
a lot of plastics in this image. very colourful too
Bill Phillips: Typical of the English seaside town Ayush
