I am not convinced he has been a lot of help so far...
Bill Phillips: He/she is not proactive as far as I can tell
This is a wonderful tribute on Remembrance Day Bill... thank you....petersmile
Bill Phillips: We will be handing these out this morning. The Legion asked our Lions club if we could re-do their service sheet. The challenge was getting it all, onto one sheet of A4 paper!
Indeed it all falls together this year doesn't it, except they have the service at 3.00 pm.where we live.
Bill Phillips: Ours is at 11.00am There is a church service afterwards for those who wish and than there is an open gathering at the Legion at about lunch time. We only go to the first bit.

The humans make the war - God could help if we would listen more to 'his' words and follow 'his' commandments! - a fine tribute to remembrance this Day today!
Bill Phillips: The Tohu shalt not kill one would be a good start Philine.

You will be there I presume
Bill Phillips: Yes Ange Kathryn and I plus some of the other Lions are handing these sheets out.
We have woken to a glorious sunny morning I do hope it holds for the 11th Hour.
Bill Phillips: Forecast here is good so fingers crossed. Over the last few years attendance at our local memorial service has been steadily increasing.
I like that it is on Sunday this year.
Bill Phillips: It makes all the more meaningful somehow
I think we can remember the dead without the intervention of God.
Bill Phillips: I manage it perfectly well but a lot of people draw comfort and strength from their faith
I expect there was a good turn out Bill. Nice post for the occasion
Bill Phillips: There was indeed Janet. A shame the PA system didn't really work and you couldn't hear anything

It makes a change to hold it in January.
Bill Phillips: Hahahaha I didn't notice the oneth month
A day and time to pause and think isn't it?
Bill Phillips: And to realise how lucky I am that I have never had to experience being shot at in a war.
Thank you for your Rememberance Bill!
Bill Phillips: It is all the more important now, but it would be good if no more names needed to be added to the memorials
This is a wonderful tribute Bill!
Bill Phillips: Thanks Richard.

One of many such acts today, I think. I've lost track of the number of poppies I've bought this year and then lost; today's lasted about an hour! Still, the money will help, I'm sure.
Nicely done, Bill. Thoughtful.
