A bargain, judging by the crowds of punters.

I can envisage a Chad's Worst Curries cart parked right next to the sign...with Bill perched on a high stool next to it and punching out tear-stained C&W classics...
Bill Phillips: you have a wonderful imagination Ray.....
Well, since you'd asked - I wouldn't want to stay a week here, because I can live vicariously through your photos!
Bill Phillips: Dorset is a lovely county when the sun shines and even when it doesn't but Bournemouth is best in the sun.
No wonder there are no people ... I know of several piers that you and your peers appear to be able to get on free to peer over the railings.
Bill Phillips: I think you are in danger of succumbing to Peer pressure Richard

Are you serious??? No wonder no people are there! sad
Bill Phillips: Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose.
Nothing ain't worth nothing but it's free

I don't know why but that just came into my head and I'm betting you know the song.

Where are the crowds? I recall this pier and the one-arm-bandits (I didn't play, only observed). Oh, it is still raining in Bournemouth - poor seaside resort, but your photo is a good one!
Bill Phillips: Huddling in their hotels trying to keep dry and warm probably Philine. I am very pleased that you like my picture

This makes a great bowling alley... I winder how this place looks with sun and tourists...
Great shot though.
Bill Phillips: No idea we were only there for a few hours and it never stopped raining.

Oh good...we're still in this AWFUL PLACE aren't we!!
Bill Phillips: Yes indeed and there is even worse to come Mike
Come down to Shaldon so I can beat you about the head with smelly kipper.
Bill Phillips: Shut up and get back to taking yet more dreary pictures of that Pier in Teignmouth

How much for an adult? No way! I have been to the Pier Theatre. I think I saw some sort of farce with Lionel Blair sad
Bill Phillips: An experience like that can scar you for life Alan

Great image Bill
Bill Phillips: Thanks Mate. It is about time you showed up again. what has happened to the rest of the Aussie contingent?
Most enticing, people have voted with their feet.
Bill Phillips: Webbed?

Good photo Bill, the place wasn't exactly packed was it?
Bill Phillips: To be fair it was quite early. To be unfair, who would want to pay to walk along a pier in the pouring rain?
Nice shot in B&W Bill! I'm not sure I'd want to pay those prices, especially in wet weather!
Bill Phillips: We didn't
Looks as if you were first in line, Bill. Absolutely no need to push yourself through the maddening crowds at this venue.
Bill Phillips: A photo was enough Beverly.
Ah - sunny Bournemouth! Great shot Bill. (:o)
Bill Phillips: Thanks Ros. I am not overly fond of Bournemouth so I am enjoying this seriesgrin
Not many takers by the look of it.
Bill Phillips: Exactly none Brian
Rain is supposed to be free of charge! Isn't it?
Nice perspective Bill.
Bill Phillips: Hahahaha About the only thing in this country that is Richard

Bill Phillips: I'm glad you didn't too Lisl or I would start thinking you don't like me any more :d

I love this dark dank scene Bill.
Bill Phillips: Very British isn't it?
perfectly framed. all elements are in, to make it a complete composition, imo.
