Could be the NE coast of the USofA yesterday, Bill.
Bill Phillips: This is a mere wet English day Ray. What has happened to the US is in a different league altogether
Goodness - I think it IS the NE coast of USofA !!! smile
Bill Phillips: Nothing by comparison Elizabeth. This was just a wet English day. We have been seeing the devastation of Sandy on our news and it is heartbreaking to see
This is a wonderful capture of the misty day by the sea and the reflections of the walkers in the wet sand Bill...

but i can't for the life of me understand why they would be allowed to post billboards along the beach side of the walkway....petersmile
Bill Phillips: The English seaside has long been known for tacky.....grin

I have a feeling a LOT or people will identify with this today, Bill. (sigh)
Bill Phillips: I posted this series before The great storm. The East coast has taken a hammering. They showed on our TV what the storm area was if it was over Europe. It covered ALL of Europe. The loss of lives is particularly tragic

Bill Phillips: you ain't seen nothing yet
Hi, Bill! Welcome to `Sunny Bournemouth` lol! Hope all is well with you. (:o)
Bill Phillips: Hi Ros....I'm fine how are you?....I am now going to check if you have actually posted something grin
This is actually a great series Bill ... keep them coming.
Bill Phillips: There's quite a lot more Richard so I hope you won't be disappointed smile

I think I should cancel my holidays in GB - what a tristesse - and no bacon buttie , only an ugly Hamburger!
Bill Phillips: Fear not Philine. We went on to Weymouth where we had lunch in a lovely little cafe and enjoyed an all day breakfast smile

My those advertising hoardings look awful - what were the council thinking? They make it look more depressing than the rain and mud ever could.
Bill Phillips: Dreadful aren't they? councils and thinking seldom go together Mike

Just thinking about your weather in Bournemouth, and you could have come to Poland.
Bill Phillips: Such are the twists of fate Chad
Oh yes please go to Poland.
Bill Phillips: Why don't you go to Teignmouth? Oh 'ang on you are going soon aren't you? Hope you have nice weather.
It looks as though you had a really great time down there in bonny Bournemouth, of course the real reason for taking this was because of the lady in shorts with nice shaped thighs, be honest!
Bill Phillips: I was attracted by her red jacket which is a purely compositional element Brian
Great shot Bill! For all it's murkiness, you've found some colour and interest, nice leading lines too! smile
Bill Phillips: Thank you Martin. Not bad for a camera that only cost 30 quid.

Looks more like the eastern seaboard of the US! At least there is plenty of space on the beach and still some deck chairs for hire.
Bill Phillips: I decided against a deck chair
Great atmospheric shot Bill!
Bill Phillips: Thanks Richard. There was a lot of atmosphere falling from the sky.
If this is what I missed by staying in the hotel bar......
Bill Phillips: Well it was not as bad as it looks.....actually come to think of it was
Not the best weather for a day out but it does make a good photograph though
Bill Phillips: It was fun to take pictures in weather like this Janet
The misery of the Bournemouth experience on a bad day in one quintessential shot Bill.
Bill Phillips: Takes more than a drop of rain to deter some folk though
Who is the fellow playing the keyboard sideways?
I admire your courage, Bill, taking pics in those conditions! Mind you, it was rather masochistic to visit Bournemouth on such a day! smile
