Welcome back, Bill!

Feel refreshed after the break?
Bill Phillips: Indeed Ray. Revitalised and raring to go (I tend to lie on a Monday)

A nice day for a nice stroll on the beach.
Bill Phillips: It was, apart from the driving rain

Hmmmm. Why would anyone put that up to obstruct the view of the sea, Bill???? Or is that a place to shower off? In that regard, ok then.
Bill Phillips: It is indeed a place to shower off and wash your surfboard.

You have made this jewel of the Dorset coast seem so appealing!
Bill Phillips: It gets worse

Being made to sing this as a group leaves no room for individual thought or expression. What if one does not like to be beside the seaside? Is one an outcast? Nice pic.
Bill Phillips: Hell's teeth Chad it's only a ruddy song
You've sold it to me Bill! smile
Bill Phillips: You like the seaside on a cold wet day then Fred?

What did happen to Bournemouth? - I have lovely memories of the beach...
Bill Phillips: It rained Philine...and rained and rained
Bournmouth was never as exciting as this when I went there in the 50's
Bill Phillips: Exciting Bournemouth.....Oxymoron
I can feel rehab coming on and a need for a holiday after seeing this.
Bill Phillips: It gets much worse.

That's odd; most images of Bournemouth usuall feature on the red tops witha headline of "Phew! Wotta Scorcha!" and the beach jam packed of red blistering bodies. I hope you took advantage of the shower facilities.
Bill Phillips: didn't need to it was p***ing down with rain

Bournemouth not looking its best, love it. Reminds me of Ted MacDougall who left the Cherries to join Man Utd and then scored on his debut at Old Trafford against Birmingham City.
Bill Phillips: I remember going to see Exeter City play at Bournemouth when Exeter reached the dizzy heights of the old division 3. We went with my dad and the fog descended as we were driving home. I swear he drove home by sense of smell! Te result was a draw in the match if i remember right
My niece has just started Uni there
Bill Phillips: Nice place to go to Uni Janet

Sometimes a good place for late in the year sunny days, nice and sheltered and not a bad town either.
Bill Phillips: Rained non stop John. I prefer Weymouth smile
Bournemouth was a place of childhood holidays, I love this part of the country - looks a bit grim, when you were there!
Bill Phillips: It was hooshing it down Martin!
...just don't expect TOO much when you get here!
Bill Phillips: I am not overly fond of Bournemouth Tom
It was sunny when we went to Bournemouth some years ago but it still didn't seem much more exciting than this.
Bill Phillips: I don't think the words excitement and Bournemouth go together Brian
A refreshing rainy day I presume Bill!
Bill Phillips: Spot on Richard. Pouring down
Come on in the water is lovely.
Bill Phillips: There was enough water falling from the sky Dave grin
Bournemouth 1 Sep 2001, Germany 1 England 5. It was thick fog so I only remember the hotel bar and telly!
Bill Phillips: Hahaha I remember it well
I like the shock of color with the gray backdrop!
