gawd's got a CCTV system!

Strange...I had heard she was already "all-seeing".
Bill Phillips: No CCTV....just the all seeing eye....typical woman!
So much beauty in St Mary's Church Bill and you have created a great collage... it's a sad day when they have post signs like this in a place of worship....petersmile
Bill Phillips: It is a touch of humour....think about who is watching wink

I especially like the big clock in the sacristy -and the warning sign I cannot read unless I would take a magnifier in my hands!
Bill Phillips: It says The sophisticated security system in this church is programmed to record your activities each day. I think you will know who they mean is watching Philine

No video again, we continentals are excluded (splendid isolation) from British culture!
Bill Phillips: A shame. The Police were very popular at one time

I hope that church hasn't been recording my activities over the last few days!
Bill Phillips: No but the big boss has....if you believe in that sort of thing grin
Damn it. Ray has stolen my exact thinking .... Why should the 'All Mighty' need to slum and purchase CCTV?
Bill Phillips: That's the point of the sign....there is no CCTV in here......
Very nice presentation of this beautiful place Bill!
Bill Phillips: It is a lovely church Richard

Do my activities outside of the church get recorded, too? I like the artwork with the clock; a Booker prize in the making.
Bill Phillips: Some would say so Alan. So, like me, you are probably doomed.

Is this a warning for the visitors or a reminder for the priest??? OOPS I apologize for that remark....
Great set of pictures, those tombs are beautiful, so is the stained glass.
Bill Phillips: For everybody......

I wasn't expecting such an interesting church when we went in.

How em rasping, I would hate my daily activities to be recorded by anyone.
Bill Phillips: There is a school of thought that says that is already happening, and it is not just the government doing it.

The omnipotent, omniscient, all seeing male deity comes in handy in the war against vandalism! Just wish he would be a little more accurate with his wrath and retribution!
Bill Phillips: We seem to have a non-interventionist Deity, who gets the credit for all the good things but no blame for the bad ones....bit like Tony Blair

Horrible - Please, send me the e-mail address of the reverend - I want to ask him ...
Bill Phillips: I think it is meant to be a humorous reminder that the almighty sees all we do Philine.
Is that you sleeping above the sign?
Bill Phillips: I do sleep like a log Mary

I like the vestry shot, Bill
Bill Phillips: I'd like to have that clock!
Really beautiful shots Bill, I like the ceilings and lighting, makes a great collage!
Bill Phillips: Thanks very much Martin
It really is an attractive church, I look forward to seeing more next week.
Bill Phillips: This is it for the church. Next week it's the town
Maybe the management's a Big Brother controller wannabe Bill!?
Bill Phillips: I think people call him God Fred.

Still no sign of 'Gwyl fwyd y fenni'. I guess you were too late, then.

Interesting system to check who paid tithes and who not.
Bill Phillips: We were too early, as you will discover next week.
Dear God , stroll on Monday.
Bill Phillips: Well quite, it is a church.
Nice collage, Bill. I like the warning.
Bill Phillips: Yes it made me smile when i spotted it.
i like the interiors. the bottom right warning is amusing; reminds me of a sophisticated "urine detection device" in an elevator!
Bill Phillips: Haha. the local public toilet used to have a sign saying it was protected by CCTV.It was quite amusing watching people surreptitiously looking for the camera!
