Golly!
Bill Phillips: Indeed Elizabeth, so bear that in mind if you come here to go fishing
They just never had any fun back in 1927 Bill... love it great find....petersmile
Bill Phillips: Oh i don't know...they had the Charlestongrin
That really proves how boring fishing really is.
Bill Phillips: Never appealed to me. Certainly don't fancy groping fish

Haha!! Does that just apply to salmon fishing? If not, I'm probably guilty at some point smile
Bill Phillips: I guess salmon and trout...who wants to grope a carp?

But shoving a hook in their mouths dragging them out of the water and hitting them with a bar is fine.

Very funny though Bill - clearly there was no confusion about what was being groped back in 1927!
Bill Phillips: I see you are not an angler then Mike...nor I

My tickling & groping days are over...
Bill Phillips: That's not what I've heard
Too funny! I have to send this to my son as an ecard. I am wondering about tickling fish. Do they not want them to laugh?
Bill Phillips: I understand tickling is a way of catching trout in particular. I assume it was a technique used by poachers.
Well tickling and groping passed you bye years ago .
Bill Phillips: At least I can remember them
great sign!!
Nice one.....
have to remember.......
Bill Phillips: Cheers Rob!
This one can't be missed Bill!
Not my favourite sport...
Bill Phillips: I can never understand the attraction...mind you I like fish!
So be warned, don't take the girl friendsmile
Bill Phillips: Hmmmmm.................wink
Damn - these societies spoil all your fun! (But at least they can use an apostrophe correctly!)
Bill Phillips: A rare thing these days! Don't get me started grin
I didn't think there was much fun in fishing to start with. This has ruined it completely.
Bill Phillips: I'm not into this fishing lark but a bit of tickling and groping seems harmless enough. I bet the fish enjoy it

As someone who used to fish often I found this pretty funny. Awesome sign!
I hadn't realised my son got up to this sort of thing when he goes fishing!
Bill Phillips: I think you should keep an eye on him Brian grin
