Clearly I am not the only one who thinks walking in the countryside is a bit overrated

Clear evidence of an Alien Abduction, Bill!

Better throw up a hide and wait...they might return the abductee to the same place, and you will be on hand to take the prize-winning photograph.
Bill Phillips: This could be my moment of glory!!!!!
It's always lovely to walk on grass in barefeet!
Bill Phillips: Very true, but be careful where you step

I suggest these are Alan's boots he put off to air his blue socks and sweaty feet after a mileslong walk ... - it could be also Chris's boots (but not my ones, they are just resting in the cellar).
Bill Phillips: Alan's boos are much more sophisticated than these i suspect Philine
My serious mountain walking days are few and far between these days ... and now only done in the better weather. My current pair still cost me nearly £100.
Bill Phillips: I bought a pair of modest walking boots for gentle walks!

Haaaha!! I wonder what happened to their owner? I wonder if he had to leg it home?
Bill Phillips: Perhaps he had to hotfoot it
You could give the walking a try and maybe it would grow on you. You know where to find some shoes.
Bill Phillips: I have walking boots, believe it or not!! I only walk if I can take photos and it is a nice day and not too hilly.........
I wonder if the owner got half way home and then wondered why his feet felt strange on the throttle, brake and clutch pedals.
Bill Phillips: You really do wonder, there they were at the entrance to a field....odd!
Perhaps there were better shoes on offer and an exchange took place smile
Bill Phillips: Perhaps a roadside stall selling walking boots?
So you have knowledge of ladies who can't keep their shoes on... mmmm. Tell us more, but very delicately. Fine image, by the way.
Bill Phillips: I know nothing Tom.....
Well spotted and captured Bill. I enjoyed your series!
Bill Phillips: Thank you Richard, it was a bit of tongue in cheek fun
These are the self-walking shoes I have heard so much about...
Bill Phillips: What have you heard?
