This is colourful. Tiff is good at identifying things seen on a country walk perhaps he knows the name

That one is too obvious, Bill, so you shouldn't really disturb the Great Identifier for this.

Clearly it is the pastoral Shrink-wrapped Lego Blocks, probably at the chicken farm.
Bill Phillips: I think you may be close
You find the strangest things on your countryside walks Bill.. but they are never boringgrin....petersmile
Bill Phillips: This is real world stuff Peter
A colorful collection for sure!
Bill Phillips: A new F1 hybrid perhaps

There are a number of names I could use: most of them unrepeatable before the watershed hour
Bill Phillips: you can't repeat what you haven't said

I'm with Ray on this; Lego came to my mind, too. Shame about that shrink wrapping.. what do they do with that stuff when they have finished with it?
Bill Phillips: Perhaps they recycle it and feel smugly green

A colourful country view, Bill
Bill Phillips: Rural England, takes a bit of beating Lisl
Slowly but surely plastics ( in all it's form are taking over the world. A beach was analysed a year or two back and was found to contain, as a percentage of all the beach material, an astonishing and incredulous amount of microscopic plastic particles.
Bill Phillips: and you typed this comment on a plastic keyboard perhaps?
Colourful Bill, I too would've looked to capture this, nice shot smile
Bill Phillips: Cheers Martin, you are clearly on the same wavelength then grin

Plasticus Boxus. Fungal growth that is hard to eradicate once established.

This image meets with my approval but then I'm sure you knew it would.
Bill Phillips: This series had you in mind Chad, so i am pleased you approve of at least one of them
I think you may have stumbled onto a farm, Bill. Farms grow our food and when they are harvesting said food they put it in boxes and trays to be cleaned and sorted.
Bill Phillips: Oh is THAT what it is....
I always feel there's a picture somewhere going in close to these awful things but I've never managed to get it yet.
Bill Phillips: I always say "if at first you don't succeed, give up"

What's bin did and what's bin hid?
Bill Phillips: Well yes....I think
This is an example of the way the common, multicoloured, British box lizard aggregates into groups, preparing for the winter hibernation. When this happens they exude something that looks rather like plastic wrap and has a similar protective function. You are very lucky to have caught them in this state, Bill.
Bill Phillips: I am obliged to you for this information
Bill it reminds me of a song about little boxes.
Bill Phillips: I remember it well...used to sing it to my daughter!
Will we see some countryside or do i have to look at Trimbos concrete blocks.Never mind tough titty.
Bill Phillips: Not a cat in Hell's chance i'm afraid Michael, back to Trimbo
