I doubt it will keep that rampant sky from getting in, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Not a chance Ray
That's the gateway to heaven Bill... gorgeous shot....petersmile
Bill Phillips: Thank you kindly Peter
Ooooh this is really cool! I love how you processed this one!
Bill Phillips: A little twiddle Elizabeth
wowsa! i love the composition and the sky is stunning. looks like a screen shot from one of the first person shooter apocalyptic games i used to play long time back [except the muzzle of an assault rifle would be protruding out into the image]
Bill Phillips: I always used to download the cheat modes as I was useless at them!

That is a superb gate Bill but if I were to install it somewhere I might have to change the gate posts for something more suited.
Bill Phillips: They are a tad utilitarian Chad

Aren't you supposed to have the gate open to welcome the viewer 'into' the photograph ;o)
Bill Phillips: Who said anything about welcoming?
A dramatic sky - heck a dramatic photo all around. Gorgeous!
Bill Phillips: Thanks very much Mary
A dramatic sky, Bill, Tonemapped, Topaz, or what? Or is it a twiddlers trade secret? smile
Bill Phillips: Color effex pro that comes bundled with Corel PSP4

Stunning sky once again Bill but must be great to explore the other side.
Bill Phillips: Actually peter, between you and me, it wasn't
Great sky Bill, not on loan from Chris's shed I trust.
Bill Phillips: No this is my own!

Armageddon comes to Droitwich. I hope the sausage was saved.
Bill Phillips: This is Southwell so the sausage is quite safe Alan
Wow Bill, love that sky and all the wild flowers, very dramatic! smile
Bill Phillips: I like a good sky!
A wonderful dramatic image Bill!
Bill Phillips: Thank you kindly Richard
I love the quirky gates one sometimes comes across. Gateway always seem to make strong metaphors. This is a rather fine example amongst the vegetation.
Bill Phillips: This one seems to be a bit redundant but it is an attractive bit of ironwork
Fantastic. Great image Bill
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much Janet

Woo - I seem to detect an overload of parsnip wine here, Bill! smile
Bill Phillips: Hahahaha.......overload of something at any rate Tom
Gateway to Doom, evidently.
