I imagine anyone who had a place like this to call the SummerHaus would be afflicted with chronic hard wick, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Groan..................smile
perfect image. well chosen angle, beautiful day with those puffy clouds and properly exposed
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much Ayush
Wonderful building - but I can't take my eyes off that beautiful tree!
Bill Phillips: The tree is a bit special isn't it?

That is an impressive building, love the statues on top of it. That tree is a gardeners dream, I assume.
Wonderful picture, those clouds are wonderful.
Bill Phillips: I am pleased you like this Lady P. I hope that you and Ginnie have laid in a supply of treats to settle down with and watch the opening ceremony smile
Very beautiful composition Bill... such vivid colours in this shot and a very grand building... you've got to love that sky....petersmile
Bill Phillips: We were lucky with the weather as this was during the awful recent spell of weather and we got two sunny days!

I wonder if THEY say "My house is your house?" I wouldn't want to live there long enough to keep it clean but a night or two might be fun. Great POV, Brian!
Bill Phillips: If you have a place like this you need servants!

Great that you captured the whole castle with its garden and the dramatic sky (although a bit squeezed way) -unusual the figures and letters on the top of tghe castle (I have to google a bit).
Bill Phillips: I try to give value for money Philine. The letters are for Elisabeth Shrewsbury better know as Bess of Hardwick who was a very wealthy Elizabethan Lady

Oh yes - chocciebox heaven! I rather liked Perry Como's laid back voice
Bill Phillips: Mt mother actually had this LP and I don't know what became of it. I used to play it quite a lot but only in secret!

I wonder what Elizabeth Talbot (more regularly known as 'Bess of Hardwick'wink would have made of all the common riff raff traipsing over her domain.
Bill Phillips: she would probably have made money out of them...she was a shrewd cookie

I thought at first they were people on the roof. (I've an eye on the Olympics opening ceremony and its difficult to compare reality with fantasy). It looks a wonderful place. I like the tree very much.
It has curved trees and the great Perry Como--what more could you ask?
