Things seen at Hampton Court

You may recall that I spent a week working at Hampton Court helping out my old company. Well here are a few of the things I saw. Captured on Mr Pig's camera

This is a hen house that sells for about £2500

I believe any intelligent chook would treat this contraption with disdain, Bill.
Bill Phillips: These are prizewinning chooks. He had one worth about £300!!
And here i thought that you and Mr Pig ran off with a Gypsy caravan Bill... i like it....petersmile
Bill Phillips: Mr Pig would like this Peter. He likes style grin

I thought you might have found time for the camera, Bill. Good thing
Bill Phillips: didn't take much apart from our stand and my colleagues which I won't bore you with!

You really would have to have more money than sense to buy a twee thing like this wouldn't you!

I expect they sold a few dozen to the wealthy denizens of the southeast then...
Bill Phillips: The bloke selling them counts the owner of Chelsea football club amongst his neighbours so you can draw your own conclusions Chris

Oh, what a seet Häusle, I would like to be a hen living there! My first thought was: a toilet - huisje - or a 'Bordell' (making love..) -or a gypsy wagon? Yes, it is, not too expensive to be sold!
Bill Phillips: The Ritz of the hen world Philine

Poor hens having to suffer the indignity of living in that!
Bill Phillips: For people with more money than sense but it was rather fun!

It could also be a bath cabin from former seaside resorts in Victorian times - before you stepped into the sea in your discreet bathing costume (no bikini!) Thank you for your funny reply!
Bill Phillips: It is rather like a Victorian bathing hut
I think it charming, much fancier than the duck house I built.
Bill Phillips: It is fun but a ridiculous amount of money!
It's no wonder so many hens are homeless, Bill. smile
Bill Phillips: A bit like people.
One would have thought there would be a bigger market as a children's playhouse. Very "Wind in the Willows'
Bill Phillips: It is now you come to mention it. You can just see toad showing off in it!

There one like this on the I.O.W Bill more or less identical.
Bill Phillips: I imagine this is where they bought it!
Every home should have one and a latte maker.
Bill Phillips: So every home should have at least two completely pointless possessions then Mick?
I guess any visiting M.P's.were lining up to buy one of these on expenses.
Bill Phillips: I couldn't possibly comment Brian
A charming but very expensive piece Bill!
Bill Phillips: The price is daft but is is rather good!

Amazing, they have to lay a lot of eggs for that money.
It is almost embarrassing, the music is Dutch origin... sad

Bill Phillips: Some of his chickens...well the cockerel is worth about £300 so I suppose i might be for deluxe birds!!
Just the thing for an MP to put on his expenses, then smile
There's a very pretty little chicken coop! Happy to see the little queens being treated as they should. What kind of camera does Eb have?
Bill Phillips: Eb has a little Fuji compact that I bought in a sale for £30. It boasts 14 megapixels!
love the arrow and the heart shaped window. neat and tidy work
