They are more yer "splashing and wallowing" species, Bill.

I sure hope that pile isn't all from one family, Bill...though if it had been MY family growing it, it could well have been (with 10 of us!). Good thing there are different colors and patterns for telling whose are which...or which are whoose. smile
Bill Phillips: It is from Dodford Children's Farm Ginnie

Oh, this picture might confirm: it is often, very often raining in England- but now the sun is shining, the summer has arrived, and all are going barefoot!
Bill Phillips: They are forecasting 30 degrees today!!!

Hahaha - love it!

I suspect Nancy only got where she did on the back of her daddy's fame
Bill Phillips: I would think so. She was hardly a great talent!

Fab photo Bill - I remember Nancy Sinatra from family favourites to know that if I listen I won't get the tune out of my head for the rest of the day!

Yes, Ray is right - they are closer to swimming than walking. Wading wellies.
Bill Phillips: Jumping in puddle wellies too
Now that the sun is shining everyone is putting their boots out to dry for the duration of the sunshine. Good colourful capture.
Bill Phillips: It might last a week!!
Great selection of "wellies" there Bill, and what a fine reason for them being there in the first place.
Bill Phillips: It is a wonderful place and they do a great job.

Is this is what is known by you retired people as putting your feet up? Apparently wellie boot sales in M&S have been up 15% recently; no idea why. Perhaps people are splashing out?
Bill Phillips: I wonder why people are buying wellies?? You would think it had been raining a lot or something
A nice collection of summer footwear, having said that the suns shiningsmile
Bill Phillips: But for how long?
I'm sure they'll get put to good use soon enough Bill! smile
Bill Phillips: I would think so Fredsmile
...or gardening?
Bill Phillips: I can never see the appeal of gardening in the rain!

I bet your boots are the ones with the Union Jack???
I think this was the only 'hit' she had???
Bill Phillips: She did something stupid with ole' frank which was also a number 1 in the UK. she had a couple of hits with Lee Hazlewood, Jackson and did you ever. I think they were married at the time. She had one or two other minor hits. She was also in a number of films.
As they say in Norfolk they are BOOT-I FULL !!!
Bill Phillips: Hahahahaha!! Very good Peter.
Up to your usual high standard Bill.
Bill Phillips: I know...awesome

This photograph is great Bill, I would likely it if I did such things.
Bill Phillips: you don't want to be messing with those likely things Chad
I'm away for 4 days but I see nothing has changed!
Bill Phillips: Reassuring in a way Graeme
I love that song! Mom used to sing it when trying to get my rain boots on my shuffling feet!
Bill Phillips: Funny how often songs are connected to memories.
