Apologies for lack of comments or replies yesterday. We went up to Yorkshire and by the time we got back I was too tired to even look!

What was she doing on top of the bus, Bill...surely not intending to throw herself off, headfirst...she's got good teeth!
Bill Phillips: She was waving to the crowds and showing what a caring organisation Lloyds bank is, spending the money we bailed them out with

Fancy glasses, I wonder if the sun was shining that day....(what sun.....????) I will keep my distance from black cats today wink
Bill Phillips: Hard to believe but the day the Olympic torch came through Droiters it was hot and sunny!!!
She looks like she's enjoying the view! I'm not superstitious - just teeny-stitious!
Bill Phillips: I'm not superstitious but my daughter is!
I can see that she had a great view Bill... great portrait and reflection... hands downgrin....petersmile
Bill Phillips: She seemed to be enjoying herself Peter

If I say I am superstitious I reveal myself to be nothing but a vulnerable old fool. If I say I'm not I am tempting fate...

Love the reflection in the glasses and the inscrutability of her expression
Bill Phillips: Stick with the former as you end up as one one day if you live long enough.......I think I am already there

Hands down for me, Bill, but it's always fun whenever a Friday the 13th comes around. smile
Bill Phillips: I am not but our Helen is!
I'll be happy as long as Saturday the 14th comes along for me.

Talking of buses ... It's rare to see pleasant visions on my Park and Ride bus journey into town. It's just full of grey haired wrinklies, like me, who are talking about all the reasons why the bus was two minutes late in leaving ... Such is life.
Bill Phillips: If the government abolishes the bus passes I can see the demise of buses as nobody seems to actually buy a ticket

Attractive lady and a refined photo! You love the ladies as I see (the 3r lady on SC without any interruption!)
Lol at Chris - he might have said what I was thinking, too!
Bill Phillips: Haha Philine. Of course I love the ladies!

Bill Phillips: You are wise beyond your years Chad

Like the reflection in the glasses Bill
Bill Phillips: The best bit Peter!
I presume this bus was in this procession going round in which, from time to time, someone gets to carry an oversized cigarette lighter. Nice looking girl though.
Bill Phillips: The Olympic torch passing along the Worcester Road. I have never seen so many people in Droitwich!
Venturing into the north countree? I trust you had your passports checked at the border!
Bill Phillips: We went to the Workhouse in Southwell and then stayed in Wakefield before going to Nostell Priory and back home via Hardwick Hall. And it was sunshine all the way!

The thirteenth? Dang, I forgot to put a few cents on horses, lotto or something like that.

This is the Mama Bear? Lucky you!
Bill Phillips: No idea who she is Louis!
By looking at her glasses there seem to be quite a crowd around the bus!
Nice portrait Bill!
Bill Phillips: It was indeed. The torch procession around the proved a very popular idea
I think that's what they call trying to look cool.

"A Lloyds Bank bus"? What's that, please? Something that goes to a park and ride for Lloyds Bank staff? She doesn't give the impression of going to work though. I like the reflection in her glasses.
excellent shot. nicely done here. love that vignette
very good, again feels as if it comes from another era.
Beautiful looking young lady, and I love the reflection in her sunglasses!! Excellent capture! Bill
