That is a great sweater, I would be smiling, wearing it.
Bill Phillips: I am sure you would look splendid Lady P
Is that supposed to be our flag? Or yours? Is that a boy or a girl? Is it about to rip out it's own colon?
Bill Phillips: Yes... I think so. nothing like ours we don't have stars
Girl
Bit high up for a Colon I would have thought
This is way out there Bill... it can't be easy to knit a sweater of the stars ans stripes....petersmile
Bill Phillips: I have no knowledge of knitting. It would be impossible for me to knit anything

Scary indeed: what is going on?
Bill Phillips: This was in Droiters at the Friar street thing. The title derives from the fact that the poster behind Ms Flag Jumper is for a stage production of that popular sitcom.

Hmmmm. I don't think you want to hear what I'm thinking, Bill....
Bill Phillips: You are thinking you could have knitted a much better jumper?
''Auntie Maud, I will wear this jumper ... but only the once.''
Bill Phillips: It certainly doesn't seem to have made her very happy.
This lady is wearing an all in one costume using the flag of the USA as a theme. is this insulting or patronising?
Bill Phillips: I think the word you want is probably Tacky......

Its not 4th July is it? My brother had a stars and strip shirt; he though he would get through American immigration officials quicker.
Bill Phillips: Probably a better idea than a tee shirt with an Iranian flag Alan
I thought this was the person from Monday....I'm still not sure......Bill?
Bill Phillips: Definitely not Martin.
I like the sweater but of course as a Cdn, I would never wear it.
Bill Phillips: I should hope not...You will have to knit one with maple leaves on it

You should have said smile Bill.
Bill Phillips: I am not sure she does smiling Peter
This jumper is even naffer than naff, and I'm not sure she is too happy at you recording it for posterity.
Bill Phillips: I don't think she was aware of me at all Brian.
Stars and stripes, now that's not a bad idea for a flag.
Bill Phillips: It will never catch on
The French flag is easier to kint Bill!
Bill Phillips: hahahaha very true Richard

Not the most flattering of looks and I thought this was the Stars and Stripes, not the Tricolor!
Bill Phillips: It is. The title refers to the poster in the background which was for a stage production of the well known sitcom
Old Glory looking decidedly Old Shabby.
Bill Phillips: Not the nicest jumper I have ever seen
