Evidently the local security firms are quite inventive...that surveillance camera disguised as a gull is a fine thing.
Bill Phillips: Local authority cuts have led to cheaper alternatives to cameras
The colors of the shops are really wonderful! What at pretty place!
Bill Phillips: The town has a fine castle where the investiture of Prince Charles as Prince of Wales took place...in 1969 I think

Nicely taken. Reminds me of Antwerp with all the jewellery shops!
Bill Phillips: Thank you Kavita. Nice of you to visit and comment

Oh, what a wonderful row of colourful houses- I love this Welsh street - but I wonder that there are only male persons- surely all on the way to their work - but your and our eyes were/are wandering around to discover all this beauty! (My good wishes will come tomorrow.)
Bill Phillips: I hadn't actually noticed it was only men! I am looking forward to tomorrow.

Great shot, love the angle. The colours are beautiful. Are these gentlemen in a line-up to the jewelery shop, to buy something for their mom??
Happy and safe travels to Germany!
Bill Phillips: Thanks Lady P. I am in safe hands with Tiffo and Chad......What AM I saying????

Very colourful, dome, no doubt, to mask the usual greyness that i associate with north Wales. Philine makes a good point about the lack of women; perhaps they are at home doing the chores leaves their men folk to enjoy themselves.
Bill Phillips: There does seem to be a good market for strong coloured paint in North Wales

The women are all at home doing what women do.

What do women do?
Bill Phillips: That is not for us to know or understand

They must still be expecting raids from Saxon tribes and have locked up their daughters!
Bill Phillips: Until people commented on the lack of women I hadn't actually noticed!

Now I see a sea-gull, perhaps one female being?! Funny comment by blackdog!
Bill Phillips: Ah it could be smile
I can't believe you chose the gull for your thumbnail. You are growing in spirit, I'm pleased to say.
Bill Phillips: I still detest them! I like most birds though smile
A beautiful lin-up of colours Bill!
Bill Phillips: They seem to go in for colourful buildings in North Wales
Ooh, I love those colors...
Bill Phillips: Nothing subtle here Larry grin
Great selection of colours on those shops. I don't know which day you 3 depart fro Germany but safe journeys and all that, sorry to see Mr.Pig can't make the trip, I guess Philine was looking forward to meeting him.
Bill Phillips: We are off tomorrow Brian. Flying from Birmingham airport at 2pm. Sadly the Pig is just too big to go in the bag!
