Did Mr Eb get flung off by the centripital forces as the contraption approached escape velocity, Bill?
Bill Phillips: He was well cared for by Lady P
I SO love this!!! I can't wait to see Ginnie's photos of Mr. Pig flying through the air safe in Astrid's hands!
Bill Phillips: Yes I'm looking forward to those too
Great capture of the kids having fun Bill... Cherie also had a photo of these two on the go round thing todaygrin....petersmile
Bill Phillips: Yes it was nice to meet her again

Ah... Simple pleasures, from the days when this was as scary as rides got. Now it's all roller coasters that have to loop the loop fifteen times. Good to see the "children" enjoying the ride.
Bill Phillips: I think Ginnie was a bit reluctant to go on this and a bit groggy when she got off!

Oh, old childhood memories awake - the good old 'Kettenkarussell'- Little Piglet might have felt giddy while flying around, but he was well supported by A&G! Oh, sorry, Ginnie's camera looks a bit like ...
Bill Phillips: I think Mr Pig was OK but Ginnie looked a bit wobbly when she got off grin

Well done. This is a fine memory of two redoubtable ladies on a great day
Bill Phillips: They are quite mad, but you wouldn't change them a bit smile
Two girls happily made dizzy. Goodness the technological beast that Ginnie is attempting to control looks even bigger heavier and more dangerous than ever. Astrid is wise to hold on to something warm soft and cuddly. Oh and I'm not, on this occasion, talking about you Bill. [grin]
Bill Phillips: Hahahha! That lens is a monster!

Great group of photo I have lens envy after spotting Ginnies
Bill Phillips: It is a monster...I don't know how she carries it about all day!
They certainly livened the fairground up that day.
Bill Phillips: They liven up every where they go Martin grin
This is the best thing you have ever done Bill, you could only better it by having the pig run over by a very large lorry.
Bill Phillips: I was tempted by the steamroller but Mick Shaw wouldn't lie in front of it with Mr Pig in a suicide pact

The dizzy dames sure had crazy fun on that carousel, Bill. And Mr. Pig sure had fun, too! I LOVE THIS.
Bill Phillips: You certainly looked a bit dizzy grin

That Pig seems to live the life of Riley! I always wondered who Riley was and why his life was so good.So I looked it up...

The expression was popular in the 1880s, a time when James Whitcomb Riley's poems depicted the comforts of a prosperous home life. It could have an Irish origin - after the Reilly clan consolidated its hold on County Cavan, they minted their own money, accepted as legal tender even in England. These coins, called “Reilly's” became synonymous with a monied person, and a gentleman freely spending was “living on his Reillys.”
Bill Phillips: Shutterchance is very educational. Thanks Mike
The girls look a bit dizzy in the middle shot.
Bill Phillips: They were!
It's great Bill: good fun smile
Bill Phillips: They were the only ones brave enough to go on that thing!
So much fun for everyone. Haha, at the middle shot, Bill, as it looks as if Ginnie is grabbing Astrid's arm so she can steady herself after that dizzying ride on the swings.
Bill Phillips: She was a bit groggy Beverly, i'm not sure Astrid was much better!
The girls were dizzy because of the ride , whats your excuse.
Bill Phillips: Putting up with you!
This has cheered my day up, internet problems after the latest wretched Windows update, all hopefully. Well Mr.Pig certainly enjoyed his roundabout ride even if it seems Ginnie wasn't quite so sure.
Bill Phillips: Good old Microsoftsad I think Ginnie was a bit reluctant to go and was a bit groggy after grin
They all seemed having enjoyed the ride Bill!
Fine collage.
Bill Phillips: I think Mr Pig enjoyed it the most

smile It was a great ride with Mr. Pig. I am so happy Mr. Pig talked us into it. I would have never known, what I would have missed that afternoon.
smile It was great..... once a kid always a kid wink
Great collage BTW and a great video.
Bill Phillips: We have to grow old but we don't have to grow up grin

I'm feeling giddy just looking at these! And what is that enormous thing dangling from Ginnie's neck - is it a camera lens or a flask?!
Bill Phillips: You wouldn't have got me on it! It is a lens. I think it is about the equivalent of 28-400....

PS: I think Mr Pig enjoyed this ride rather more than than the unfortunate incident where he fell from the roof...
Bill Phillips: Hahaha I think he did
