Lots of interesting paint pots used here, Bill.
Bill Phillips: It is the most amazing place Ray
Such lovely use of colour here too.
Bill Phillips: The whole place was designed and built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis and is a magical place

Each time I go to North Wales, I keep meaning to pop in there but the thought of paying an admission charge puts me off! (You do have to pay, I assume?). Ever since I've seen this place on the "The Prisoner", it's held some fascination for me. It looks so our of character with the general greyness I associate with north Wales. I like the large image especially.
Bill Phillips: It is worth the admission price. I went there years ago with my job and always wanted to go again and take Ange. It really is unique. There is still lots of Prisoner memorabilia!

Yes, I recall the Mediterranean flair of Portmeirion we saw during a walk along the coastal cliff path - a lovely, dream place, indeed, but full of tourists like me -at first I thought you want to follow Chris by emphasizing one colour: azure blue -turquoise? Portmeirion is full of bright- shining colours a I remember!
Bill Phillips: It is a riot of colour. We went back in March so it wasn't too crowded.

I like this very much: especially how the railings lead us into the central composition.

I could never - ever go to this place without thinking of The Prisoner
Bill Phillips: There is plenty of Prisoner related stuff there still, and for those of us who watched the series it is part of the appeal. But it is just a magical place in its' own right. If you haven't been then go!
Fabulous collage Bill. This is somewhere I haven't been to but is on the list
Bill Phillips: It had been on my list for ages and was well worth the wait!
I've just spent a half hour visiting Portmeirion at several websites. What a place.
Bill Phillips: It is a delight Mary.
Must get there one of these days!
Bill Phillips: A must visit place Tom
We went there a good few years ago and like you didn't enjoy the best of weather but what a great place. For we photographers it is a mecca, it looks as though you didn't have too many other people about.
Bill Phillips: Well it was March and not too busy
A very nice collage Bill. This is a wonderful place.
Thanks for the video.
Bill Phillips: Well worth a visit if you ever visit Wales Richard
