Do the accompanying steak knives have a sharp edge?
Bill Phillips: No they are rubbish too
So soft looking! What on Earth is Ray talking about?
Bill Phillips: No idea I just humour him.

The lens cost £11.95 including carriage from Hong Kong

Today I shall forego my usual ontbijt and instead dine on oysters washed down with Champagne at the breakfast table to celebrate the fact that you ACTUALLY HAVE produced a worse picture than yesterday's. In fact I suspect the worst ever on S/C. Congratulations!
Bill Phillips: I did tell you.

Oh, blackbear!
Bill Phillips: Awful isn't it?
There are a lot of things that you call Holga over there Bill... but Chris seems to like it a lotgrin....petersmile
Bill Phillips: This Holga is a cheap plastic lens that I bought. It cost £11.95 including carriage from Hong Kong.

LOL at all the comments, Bill. It looks like you found yourself a winner in that cheap Holga lens. HA!
Bill Phillips: I shall persevere Ginnie. It is now on my old camera and I am going to try some more
Same comment as I made yesterday.
Bill Phillips: same reply as I made yesterday

I do see some red and green. I think the others did not even see that!!
I am having my ontbijt and sitting here wondering, how is it possible that you have so much fun with a thing that only cost 11.95 pounds.....
Did you buy it at the Flash Centre? I was googling for some Cokin filters and saw the address.
Bill Phillips: I bought it on Ebay from a company called Roxsen Digital in Hong Kong. The price included carriage. It is a simple plastic lens. What it can't do is leak light like the old Holga camera used to do!

Yes Bill, this doesn't work too well, although I do like the dots of red. Worth posting it though just for Ray's comment!
Bill Phillips: It might have worked if something had actually been in focus! You are right about Ray's comment. I will be interested to see what you think of tomorrow's
Stop press...Holga the back page...
Bill Phillips: Enjoy your birthday
I think landscapes are its forte Bill!
Bill Phillips: You might be right Fred

I think you got it right on the first one Bill keep trying.
Bill Phillips: I intend to Peter
Interesting Bill, is this the forte of Holga?
Bill Phillips: I am not sure what the forte of Holga is. Perhaps i could use it as a paperwirght
If you stare at this long enough, Bill, you can see all sort of wonderful things pop out. Truly mesmerizing.
Bill Phillips: I like the red bits
I see this filter comes with a built in 10x Neutral Density Filter included, hence one can hardly make out a thing!
Bill Phillips: I can barely see a thing through the viewfinder. It's very exciting having little or no idea what you are taking....come to think of it i don't need this lens to achieve thatgrin

Lot of moral support you are receiving. Oysters and champers? Hope his scanned ladies can handle it wink
Bill Phillips: I wonder if anybody else will be daft enough to buy one? Moral support is all very well but just imagine if everybody bought one and posted pictures on shutterchance.
Holga seems quite difficult to handle Bill!
Bill Phillips: Damn near impossible so far Richard!

Cheer up Bill, I'm sure things will look a lot more optimistic without the Holga, the spelling checker suggests Helga or Olga, and I'm sure those girls would be a lot more fun.
Bill Phillips: I'm enjoying little Holga and hopefully will finally get a picture i really like!
