I suppose, then, that he is just entering his peak, Bill.

Will he, I wonder, accept the offer to join Liverpool senior squad?

Very nice montage.
Bill Phillips: Funnily enough he is a life long Liverpool fan!

This is a MAN! And what a hero name! Which role does he take in the match: Stürmer, Verteidiger ... (sorry, I don't know the English terms)? A very fine collage!
Bill Phillips: He usually plays in Goal (der torwart?) but in this game he was a defender
He looks to be a very sensible lad ... stopping to have a breather as often as he can and yet still looks to be an important member of the team by wandering around trying to avoid looking too knackered.

Excellent montage.
Bill Phillips: Experience tells Richard.

Everbody should have a hobby. His is what we used to call soccer, yours is standing on the touchline of life with a camera
Bill Phillips: You are about right there Tiffo me old mate
Your new hobby could be as a double for John Prescot and let people throw eggs at you.
Bill Phillips: you could take up photography

Yes, Torwart is right - and very important! Our English teacher said there is an essential difference between 'soccer' (s. Chris) and football but she couldn't explain which one! And the American soccer were a special one!
Bill Phillips: i think football is a generic term. There is Association Football (or Soccer) Rugby Football, American football and Aussie Rules football. There may be more!
Why have you been hiding this skill as a sports photographer.
Bill Phillips: You might change your mind soon

Showing the way for Ryan and Scholesey then ... not that he would like to be named in the same sentence!
Bill Phillips: As a Liverpool fan i think he would not!
Here there and every where Bill still life in us old ones.

Well someone got to support them.
Bill Phillips: He keeps very fit and just loves playing
He seems to be the strong man of the team Bill!
Excellent collage.
Bill Phillips: He gets quite animated when he is playing!
A fine collage Bill, I like the way he appears to take a breather every so often and lets his team mates get on with it.
Bill Phillips: A wise old head. Paces himself and reads the game

He may be 40 but the large image shows that he still needs someone to hold his hand. smile I trust that you have caught all the moments of the game although I'm assuming that as it wasn't televised, there was no rolling around on the pitch in feined agony. This collage must have taken you a while to put together.
Bill Phillips: Hahaha! Actually this didn't take long. done in Picasa which is a very handy freebie
Looks fit enough, Bill.
Bill Phillips: I wish i was half as fit Tom!
Wow, Bill, I feel as if I have been there and just watched the match. Good job!
Bill Phillips: And all these were taken in the first half! It was a friendly and Jason played for the other side in the second half as they were a man short!
Great set of images - I love the way you presented this! I have such admiration for "older" athletes!! Lotsa moxie!
