Intending attendee at the recent Droitwich Fancy-dress ball...texting his partner to find the directions to the venue...
Bill Phillips: He is in Worcester so they are both in trouble
Well spotted!!
Bill Phillips: It made me smile!

Yes, you are right - two different times combined in the photo of one person - a fine portrait!
But sorry, I will never understand the fascination of War & Peace Shows in England. When we sat happily in Wells in a street café, a convoi of 'allied' military lorries reminding of the WWII rushed in a noisy way along the street- as we laterheard, war 'games' took place on that day...
Bill Phillips: This one had the lot, from the English civil war onwards. i never knew there were so many re-enactment groups about. I got arrested for being dressed like a parliamentarian !!
You have done well not to get anything in sharp focus Mr Phillips.
Bill Phillips: Took a bit of time but it was worth it Richard. too much clinical sharpness about these days in my humble opinion

Bill Phillips: The only mistake is bothering to post pictures

This could have been a top secret American project during WWII that got forgot after the war.
Bill Phillips: A shame it got remembered eventually

I wondered if you were alluding to his unlikely ability ti get 'airborne'! Good photo Bill.
Bill Phillips: No app available for that Mike
Well spotted, good capture.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Sheila. It made me smile
He has just launched the missiles Chris, but was only intending to text his wife smile
Bill Phillips: That is probably what Chris would do
Oops sorry Bill. (that's what he said)
Bill Phillips: Hahahahaha

Ah now I wonder what would have happened to the war had we had mobile phones then? Just blow up the masts and paralyze the nation.
Bill Phillips: Churchill and Stalin could have been friends on Facebook
This makes me smile, too, Bill. Love the softness of the image. (:o)
Bill Phillips: Thanks Ros.
Well seen and captured Bill!
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much Richard

I bet him getting a mobile out didn't go down too well with the top brass!
Bill Phillips: They all had digital cameras!
