oooh - rather creepy stairs - looks as if there could be a lot of mice running up and down them, too. Yet another favourite song - memories of Ed Stewpot Junior Choice!
Bill Phillips: Hehe... I had almost forgotten old Stewpot!

The stairs look like they are fashioned from dirty ice, Bill.

It's a fine shot, and indicates you have the focussing mechanism working again. [grin]
Bill Phillips: It is a random event Ray.
Interesting image, it is indeed a little creepy!
Bill Phillips: That was the intention grin

Oh, I am not sure if I should step up this staircase - and where may it lead too'- a bit creepy feeling I cannot ignore although I am sure to be in a NT or English Heritage house- but a plenty of ghosts are told to be there ...horrible stories are told to have happened!
Bill Phillips: Newark Park Philine. A delightful house and gardens

A picture such as this should evoke deep memories in anyone who was once a small child.
Bill Phillips: I bet you spent a lot of time on the naughty step Cahd
Yes you are right there Bill, they are stairs, interesting processing as well.
Bill Phillips: I couldn't think of a clever title!
To venture up there would not be for the faint hearted
Bill Phillips: So i didn't grin

Nice cold blue light at the top of the stairs - I remember that awful song from the radio prog. "Family Favourites" that we used to have on in our kitchen long long ago.
Bill Phillips: The compulsory bit of classical music was either the last bit of the William Tell overture of the last bit of the 1812.
I want to climb those stairs.
Bill Phillips: Go to Newark Park then

I like how the highlight on the hand rail invites; but certainly creepy grin
Bill Phillips: Lured to your doom perhaps Martin?
More than a mouse lurks up there Bill smile
Bill Phillips: Hahaha... you could be right John
They look a bit rickety and old to me Bill and it makes your mind wonder to what's up their.

Not Maxs singing the song.
Bill Phillips: Probably the bathroom grin

Thinks seem to be on the up; that's good news.
Bill Phillips: to infinity and beyond Alan
Fine composition Bill - full of character.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Fred. Back stairs at Newark Park
Old stairs, trodden by lots of peoples over the centuries. Well, that's what it looks like anyway. There is a glimmer of light at the top, so not too creepy and fearsome.
Bill Phillips: Mainly servants feet I imagine Sheila
Well used and not well cleaned by the looks of it!
Bill Phillips: To be fair I have dirtied them up a bit grin
I love the ditty, Bill, but I would hesitate and probably think twice about mounting those steps. Could be the scene of a nasty occurrence.
Bill Phillips: Hahaha i think they are the servants stairs so harmless really smile
They do look very old and I suspect a young child would feel quite scared going up there.
Bill Phillips: The Bogeyman is coming to get you!!!
Lovely and mysterious shot Bill!
Bill Phillips: I frightened myself doing the picture grin

When I see shots like this I always try to imagine what people have walked these steps in the past. They look like they could be haunted. Lovely eeeie shot smile
Bill Phillips: Clanking of chains and eerie screams
